Many recent upgrades! Brand new kitchen appliances, remodeled remaining two bedrooms and second bathroom, all new windows in the home, custom blinds.

This lovely three-bedroom, two-bath home is situated on the shore of Spider Lake, which is excellent for fishing, water skiing, swimming, and other water sports. This large home sleeps six or more and has lake views from the living room, dining room, family room and two of the bedrooms. The home has a king bed, a queen bed, and a full bed, and is furnished with many conveniences including laundry, microwave, Keurig and 12-cup coffee maker, ice maker, three TVs, DVD player, and clean linens. Outside you will find extensive decking, your own dock, rowboat, oars, life preservers, gas grill, outdoor furniture, and a firepit.

Color tour

We had three adult couples and having only one key was not always the best when we went in different directions. The house was clean however the pet hair in some of the rooms caused some allergies to flare up for some of us. Good location and beautiful scenery and house had plenty of room.

Stay on the Lake

The place was very nice and spacious. All of the rooms were clean and inviting. The views of the lake were beautiful and it was so nice to sit by the fire right by the water. The host, Susan, was friendly and responsive to messages. While some places have a million chores to do before leaving, all that was asked of us on the way out was to leave it in the same good condition we found it in. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return for another trip!

Wonderful relaxing week with our adult children and spouses.

A very comfortable house by the lake with plenty of room for all six of us to be close or spend time alone. The lakeside dock and deck were very popular. Would rent here again, if we ever come back to the Traverse City area

We didn't know each other then, but we (George and Susan) both came to up north to Spider Lake as kids during the summer, and we both moved permanently to Traverse City as young adults the first chance we got (a long time ago). We love this lake and are happy to call it home. We owned and operated a restaurant/bar just down the road (Peegeo's) for 37 years and George is still happy to be managing it for the new owners.

Why they chose this property

We take pride in our property. It is well maintained, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. Whether you want to fish, ski, golf, hike, swim, gamble, ride a horse, shop, or just kick back on the deck with a glass of local wine and a good book, this property is situated in the right place. The property has over 100' of private frontage on Spider Lake and its own dock, along with a deck right at the water's edge.
