This spacious third-floor apartment allows for an EXCLUSIVE COVERED TERRACE overlooking Lucca’s famous rooftops and it's distant mountains. To be enjoyed come rain or shine, the roofed terrace provides the perfect retreat & the privacy to enjoy your morning coffee, eat lunch or dinner with family and friends, or relax with a glass of wine or chilled Prosecco after a day of exploring.
Please note that this apartment is located on the 3rd floor in a historic building with no elevators.

The apartment has a large OPEN-PLAN LIVING AND DINING area which leads directly onto the VERY PRIVATE TERRACE on the same level through chestnut French doors, which makes for practical access for all your guests. The covered terrace with it's rustic characteristics, provides relief from the hot Tuscan summer sun and the perfect cover for when it is raining, while still enjoying the spectacular vistas.
A CHARMING KITCHEN which is well equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. It has a small fridge, a microwave, toaster, stove top kettle, American-style drip coffee machine, Italian Moka and DISHWASHER.
It has two bedrooms: one MASTER BEDROOM with a queen size bed and beautiful views from the windows, and one GUEST BEDROOM with a queen size bed. New AIR-CONDITIONERS have been installed in both bedrooms. Both bedrooms include adequate wardrobe storage. The master bedroom has the option of an additional single sofa bed or a travel crib for an infant.
A BATHROOM with bathtub shower, bidet and large vanity area with adequate storage and counter space.
The apartment has recently been updated with new furnishings and bedding. There is FREE WIRELESS INTERNET (WIFI) and TIM television. There is also a WASHING MACHINE and extra bar fridge.

Check-in is after 3pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is 11am on the day of departure.
Inside the walls: The closest parking area to the apartment inside the walls is in PIAZZALE GIUSEPPE VERDI (coins only) or VIA DEL PALLONE (credit cards or coins) in the blue designated spaces. The rate is €1.50 per hour, charged from 8am to 8pm, so you will need to pay for a new ticket before 8am the following day. Parking is also available at PARCHEGGIO CITTADELLA (credit, debit cards, coins) on VIA DELLA CITTADELLA. All these parking areas are 2 mins away from the apartment.
Outside the walls: The closest parking to the apartment outside the walls is PARCHEGGIO PALATUCCI (coins only) the rate is €1 per hour, max €6 a day. A 6 min walk to the apartment.

There is minimal guest interaction. Our property manager will meet you on arrival to assist you to settle in, thereafter available via cell phone for urgent questions and emergencies.
We provide an information book on arrival with local information, taxi contacts & other suggestions. The Lucca tourist office is available down the road for all your tour and local information requirements.
Although the apartment is located on a quiet street, there is a lot of activity right around the corner. Within a few steps you are on one of the main streets, via San Paolino, where you can easily find great restaurants, grocery stores, enjoy some gelato or a glass of wine. The apartment is only a couple of minute’s walk to Piazza San Michele and the famous shopping street of via Fillungo.
The historic centre of Lucca is easily & best explored by foot. Bicycle rentals are available almost everywhere within the walls, and are also an excellent way to explore the city centre and it's surrounding wall.
Piazza Verdi is conveniently located just a short walk away from the apartment, from here you can catch buses directly to/from Pisa airport or other destinations in Tuscany. Piazza Verdi also has the closest pay by the hour parking. The train station is situated a short 10 minute walk straight out of the south entrance of the historical centre.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
**This apartment is located on the 3rd floor in a historic building so therefore there are no elevators. This is common within the historical centre due to the age of the buildings. Please reconsider if you have any mobility issues as there is no alternative access to the apartment other than via the stairs.**
