Two bedroom property with open plan living space and excellent leisure centre.

This property has beautiful sea views from the lounge and benefits from patio doors leading out onto the patio and lawn overlooking Falmouth Bay. There are two bedrooms: the master bedroom has a superking sized bed and en-suite shower room. The living area/kitchen is open plan with everything you could need for a relaxing holiday.

The leisure centre is the perfect addition to ensure you have a wonderful stay whatever the weather.

Maenporth Beach, perfect for children, is just a few minutes walk away and benefits has its own cafe. The high quality Cove restaurant serves lunches and dinner overlooking the bay.

About Fiona Hill

My husband and I bought this property just before our first child was born and we have had so many happy family holidays with all three of our children who still love to come down now they are all teenagers - Maenporth really does have something for every age! I now own the property jointly with my three sisters as we wanted our own children to be able to enjoy bringing their families to our lovely holiday home which holds so many happy memories.

Why Fiona Hill chose Budock

Maenporth is perfectly situated for exploring both the Helford River and the Lizard Peninsula. We always have a day or two over at the stunning beaches of Kynance Cove or Polurrian Bay where the surf is great for body boarding. The Roseland Peninsula is another favourite with children loving the unique King Harry Ferry journey across the river. Falmouth itself is a picturesque and perfectly sized seaside town with a wide variety of shops, galleries and award winning restaurants.

What makes this apartment unique

One of Maenporth's best features is the Leisure centre which means that there is always plenty to do even if the weather is not as good as you would hope! Our property is situated in a prime position on the estate offering fantastic sea views from the sofa. We are never short of things to do, whether it be a round of golf, a visit to nearby National Trust properties or just a day at Maenporth beach. Dining at The Cove restaurant is always a highlight of the week and having such a great beach cafe makes all the difference.

The apartment is well appointed and in a good location with coastal walks in both directions. We enjoyed cycling and walking nearby, there is plenty to keep adults and teenagers occupied. I would definitely recommend it. ( Five stars)

Clean, spacious, very well equipped & a great location with unrivalled views

Highly recommend staying here whether you're a couple or a young family. The apartment was spotless on arrival. Very spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms. The view was stunning from this ground floor apartment onto the bay and beach below. It's very well equipped too with a dishwasher & a washer dryer, and wet suits to borrow too. The owners were superb from start to finish. Plenty of clear communication from booking right up until we left. They were brilliant when the washing machine broke and it was fixed within a couple of working days.The facilities on site are perfect too with the pool, tennis courts and play area, and the you're only a 5 mins walk from the beach. Alternatively, you can drive down with a packed car and pay £3 to park all day. Highly recommended if you have a family of 4 with boards, wetsuits, windbreaker, etc etc. Maenporth is only 3 miles from Falmouth, so you're not short of daily home conveniences if you need them. We only spent a week at Maenporth estate, so cannot comment on a longer stay, but location was perfect to explore North coast, Eden project, St Michael's Mount etc. More than happy to return for another vacation.

Warm and cozy with wonderful views of the sea and beach.

An enjoyable holiday, lovely surrounding with well looked after gardens. The welcome pack with bubbly was much appreciated. At first did not like the steep ascent to the estate but eventually got used to it. It was difficult to access the gate key from the car.

Great Apartment and Excellent Location.

Great apartment and location. The pool, tennis court, play area and beach kept our 3 boys, 11, 8 and 6 happy and entertained all week. Location is good to explore the local area and fantastic nearby beaches.

Superb Apartment

What a fantastic property. Unbelievable views in a fabulous location. This well appointed apartment has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. There are wonderful walks along the coastal path in both directions and we particularly enjoyed walking into Falmouth. This was our 3rd stay at the apartment and we will definitely be returning.

Beautiful appartment and situation but the owners need to sort out the 2nd bedroom.

The appartment was situated in a beautiful part of Cornwall and had a fantastic view. The owners had gone to a lot of trouble to make sure that everything was covered to make for a good holiday ! The appartment was clean and very spacious apart from the 2nd bedroom which was cramped and really only good for children. The mattresses were uncomfortable and it really had a problem with a damp lingering smell which got into our clothes after being hung in the wardrobe . This was a real shame as the appartment overall was beautiful !

Maenporth beach is approximately 2 minutes walk from our apartment. It is a sheltered, sandy beach, with a Beach Cafe providing snacks, drinks, cappuccinos etc.

The Cove Bar & Restaurant is also situated overlooking Maenporth beach. It offers bar snacks, full meals or just a drink, which can be enjoyed inside or on the patio overlooking the sea.

Falmouth is approximately 2 miles away and has a great range of shops and restaurants including a large out of town ASDA supermarket (5 mins drive)

National Maritime Museum in Falmouth

The stunning Helford river is within walking distance and takes 10 minutes to drive.

The Lizard Peninsular is about half an hour's drive away with its many picturesque villages, including Coverack, Mullion.

The nearest village is Mawnan Smith, which has a shop & pub, The Old Lion

Former UK pub of the year,Trengilly Wartha, 15 minutes away.

Falmouth golf course 5 minutes.

Sainsbury's and Tesco Internet Delivery area.

Other Activities: Kayaking and paddle boards on Maenporth beach. Other sports including Coasteering available at Swanpool beach (5 minutes away).

Golf: The excellent Falmouth Golf Club (18 holes with driving range) overlooking the sea is approx. 1 mile from Maenporth.

Visitors are most welcome, including juniors

There are other golf courses within easy driving distance at Mullion, St Endoc and Perranporth (Amazing Links)
