Why Brenda Karika chose Whitney Point
We love our place as it is perfectly situated between Ithaca, Syracuse, and Binghamton. The weather is usually perfect in each season and very private.

Cozy, homely, wonderful!
Me and my girlfriend needed a place to stay for a few days in Whitney Point, and we stumbled upon this lovely cozy appartement. We had an amazing time and Brenda was a sweetheart and caring! Thank you so much for the wonderful time! Would definetly return! <3
You are a lovely couple and so happy for your future. So glad you found us!
The owner was extremely welcoming , the property is cozy but it can use upgrades and is far away from town.
We are apologizing to you for not having all you desire. I've asked you twice what you would suggest with no reply so can't fix something I don't know is broken.
The description does say farm stay and 3 1/2 miles from town so that would indicated rural. We are definitely not citified.
Home sweet home
We felt like we were at home. Breda and Paul make you feel like family right from the beginning. The space is beautiful! Thank you again for a beautiful long weekend. We will be back!
So glad we were able to introduce you to upstate NY!
Just what we were looking for
Brenda and Paul were great hosts. I've never had a homeaway owner stock the fridge and pantry for me before. Brenda asked what we liked to eat for breakfast and we got many choises: bagels and cream cheese, cereal, english muffins, fresh eggs, orange juice, coffee, etc. Made us feel at home. The property was great..a nice quiet escape in upstate NY.
A perfect quiet getaway
My husband and I booked very last minute, and were were so lucky!
The apartment is immaculate, and has everything you need. Everything! Everything I needed to cook, a porch swing, a comfortable bed, a great shower, lovely gardens, we were so happy we didn't even make it back to the pool! The host recommended the local diner for strawberry shortcake, and she was absolutely right. I shopped for last minute supplies (which I didn't need, because there was butter and milk, etc, already) and met the Mennonite lady bringing the produce in.
The lake is beautiful, the surrounding valleys are dotted with beautiful farms.
It was lovely and we will go back.
So glad you got to try our little Country Kitchen Diner. Very happy you were able to fit in to our calendar. Love learning about activities in our area and sheep herding was a new one. Looking forward to seeing you again.
Perfect staging place
We were up for graduation weekend. This apartment was a quiet and restful place to relax and spend some family time between events.
So glad you enjoyed your stay. Happy you had quality time. Please come again.
April, the Giraffe, is 27 miles away. The finger lakes region is loaded with wineries and breweries to visit. Water falls in Ithaca and Watkins Glen. Dorchester Park across the road with a beautiful walking path and a small beach and picnic areas. Marathon, the next town up, has the Maple Fest in early spring, Crappy Derby is here in Whitney Point if it is cold enough. We are centrally located for Binghamton, Ithaca, and Syracuse.
