Unique 2 Bedroom Apartment in Stanley House, Bridge of Allan

No1 Stanley House is a ground-floor, south-facing apartment combining modern design with original features. Recently renovated to the highest of standards it offers spacious, bright accommodation for holidays, family gatherings or social events. The accommodation comprises of a very large bay-windowed lounge with open fire, a well-equipped, modern dining kitchen fitted with Smeg fridge, 5-burner gas hob, oven, dishwasher and washing machine, I double bedroom (king-size bed), 1 twin bedroom and bathroom with over-bath power shower and underfloor heating. The apartment is centrally heated. To the front of the apartment are large lawns and a parking space and there are also communal grounds at the back of the house. The boiler room provides storage for prams or any outdoor equipment and a locking outhouse is also available for bikes on request. Flowers and a seasonal welcome basket of local produce and a bottle of fizz are provided for all guests.

About Sally Russell

I have lived in Bridge of Allan most of my life, only leaving for University, some travel and then a couple of years up north when first married. I have now brought my own four children up in the village and think that as a base it is hard to beat. We spend most of our spare time watching our sons play rugby all over Scotland and further afield.

The apartment started as an interesting project to do up and sell on but as we worked on it we realised just how much we liked it and decided to keep it and rent it out as a holiday property so that we can sometimes use it ourselves.

Beautiful apartment

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. Sally provided a welcome basket with delicious treats and breakfast items. There is easy access to Stirling and a quick walk to the shops in Bridge of Allen. Sally was quick to respond to any inquiries. I highly recommend this apartment!

Relaxing

Had a lovely 9 day stay at Stanley house over Christmas with my husband and 2 sons, 22 & 17. It was spacious and comfortable with an open fire place, which added to the enjoyment. The owners made our booking very easy and put a Christmas tree up for us and left a lovely welcome basket for us with some essentials and fun nonessentials. Great stay for my family

Awesome place want to go back!

We stayed here for a short visit to Scotland. It is in an ideal location almost 1/2 between Glasgow & Edinburgh, Also close to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. You can walk to a Tesco Express, family bakery and pubs/restaurants. The accomodations were spacious and comfortable. There is a big front lawn and during our stay the weather was beautiful so we were able to go out and sit on the lawn and enjoy the sunshine. We wish we could have stayed longer, and I definitely want to go back! The owner/manager was very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend it.

Great Place!

My fiancée and I took the flat at One Stanley House to visit my daughter at the University of Stirling. The location was perfect, on a quiet street, near the university, not far from a Tesco Express and a nice warm pub. We loved the charm and warmth of the apartment. But the best thing about it was the little touches Sally left for us like fresh milk in the fridge, flowers on the mantle and a special trip she made to deliver us firewood in case we wanted to start up the fireplace. Friendly, helpful and respectful of our privacy our host was the best!

Lovely home, excellent hospitality!

I spent a lovely two weeks with my family at No. 1 Stanley House. It is a wonderful accommodation - spacious, clean, bright and well-equipped. It is in an ideal location with easy access to Stirling, main street Bridge of Allan and surrounding areas. Sally was a most helpful, accommodating host - was very quick to respond to any questions I had and even left a basket of goodies upon arrival. I would recommend it to anyone and hope to make another visit myself.

Beautiful oasis

We have spent the last two weeks touring Scotland and No. 1 Stanley House was our little oasis. Our generous host left us flowers and treats that further enhanced our stay. A short walk to the many nearby excellent pubs and restaurants. A great central location in Scotland and easy access to the trains and motorways that allowed us to explore much of Scotland. Highly recommend it!

The historic spa town of Bridge of Allan is situated 2 miles from Stirling -the historic 'heart' of Scotland and offers a great base from which to explore. A bustling, popular village vibrant with shops and restaurants - it has it's own railway station with trains going to Edinburgh, Glasgow ant the North every half hour. Local river and woodland walks are beautiful in any season and a half hour drive takes you to the Trossachs with all the hills and lochs you could want. The village has it's own 9-hole golf course and Gleneagles and the Old Course at St Andrews are within easy reach. The village also has a 6 court tennis club and a riding school. The University of Stirling is a 10 minute walk from Stanley House and boasts fabulous grounds, sports facilities and Arts Centre. Central Scotland abounds with historic sites - Stirling Castle, Bannockburn Heritage Centre, Doune Castle and the Wallace Monument. Lots to do for everyone or you may just want to relax by the log fire.

Access to the apartment is from 4pm. Guests are asked to vacate the apartment by 10am on departure date. These times are flexible if the property is vacant before or after your stay. Arrival and departure day is Saturday during peak season.
