Self-catering holiday accommodation, 2015 dates now available. Chalet style bungalow with dramatic sea views, only yards away from quiet unspoiled beach. The bungalow sleeps 2/3 (sofa bed for 3rd person) and is fully equipped for self-catering. Large living room with kitchenette, has sliding doors that open onto a private deck. Spectacular views across the Bristol Channel towards South Wales and the islands of Steep Holm and Flat Holm. Bedroom has a king size double bed. Large bathroom with underfloor heating is en suite to bedroom. Small private sitting area at rear of property.
The bungalow is fully accessible for disabled people and those with limited mobility, being equipped with
an access ramp, wide doorways, lowered light switches and has hand rails and grab rails throughout. The large bathroom can accommodate a wheelchair and the walk-in shower is equipped with a seat.

This is an ideal centre for dog walkers and exploring the attractions of Somerset, Bristol, Bath, South Wales and the West of England.

My wife Pauline and myself have been living here for 8 years and have built up the chalet and house rental steadily over this time. We enjoy meeting new and old(previous) guests and sharing our great piece of Somerset.
In this property we have experienced the arrival of 5 grandchildren who love to visit this fantastic area whenever the can.
The views of the sunsets and the changing weather over the years are spectacular and being based here is great for visiting the many and varied events in the area along with some of the nicest countryside in England.
Comfortable and homely, the Chalet helped us to relax and rest. Thank you for your positive kindness.
We wanted a relaxing holiday in a quiet area and we got that here. We did visit a few places which were easy to find. The bus stop is practically outside the door and it was lovely not to have to drive into Weston-Super-Mare, the dogs were allowed on the bus for a minimal charge. The views were amazing, the dogs were made welcome. Very comfortable chalet, well equipped and superb communications with the owners.
The property was a substantially built bungalow as opposed to a chalet. It was situated in the owner's garden which was nicely kept . The bungalow was very spacious however it could have been a little bit cleaner e.g the floors, cutlery and crockery etc but overall very nice. The soft furnishings and furniture could do with updating, but that's just my taste.
I did find the proximity of the owner's house a little bit too close as their kitchen window looked into the main living area of the bungalow, however other visitors may not find this an issue. The owners were pleasant and helpful.
The location of the bungalow was excellent and had lovely views across the Severn Estuary to Wales. Over the road was a lovely beach and about 100yds away was a bus stop that had an open top bus stopping every half hour. The bus went to Weston-Super-Mare which proved very convenient.
Overall quite happy and would recommend this property to others.
The location of the Chalet, comfort and views are beautiful. We thorughly enjoyed our stay, Peter and his wife are very nice easy going people. We did have to purchse bottled water though from Tescos to boil in saucepan because the water in weston is hard and we do like a nice cup of tea. The meals are very nice at the Commadore Hotel and they serve a carvery everyday Our Judi a lakeland terrier enjoyed the beach just across the way .
OAPs have the opportunity to catch the bus into Weston-Super-Mare on their bus passes everyday which runs every 30 minutes . We would love to make another booking next year . Norma and Terry
We are a couple with a small dog and the accommodation was ideal for us. Clean, well kept accommodation with lovely views. The owner Peter couldn't be more helpful but at the same time didn't intrude. We really liked being in Sand Bay it's an ideal base, quiet, peaceful and unspoilt, nothing going on but that's part of its charm. We would definitely return.
We had a lovely stay - just what we needed to get away from it all! The cottage is on the front with the most tremendous views. Our dog absolutely loved the beach where dogs are allowed all year round.
Peter and his wife were the most helpful of hosts and the cottage was just perfect for me, my husband and our dog.
There is a dog friendly pub which served up great food and a dog friendly tea room.
We will most definitely be going back.
Sand Bay is a quiet, unspoilt bay situated about 4 miles north of Weston-super-Mare, close to the village of Kewstoke. The natural beach faces the Bristol Channel estuary with sensational views across to South Wales and the two islands of Flat Holm and Steep Holm. At the North end of the beach, Sand Point is owned by the National Trust. To the South, the historic Weston Woods provide interesting walks. A scenic 'Toll Road' leads through these woods to the bustling seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare. Sand Bay is ideally situated only 15 minutes drive from junction 21 of the M5 making it the ideal centre to explore the many West Country attractions, such as the Victoran seaside town of Clevedon, the city of Bristol with its historic maritime port, the ancient cathedral city of Wells and many other fascinating places.
