Perfect Oasis in Provence

  • 5 of 5

This place is the perfect oasis for getting away from it all. First Amanda and Gary

are the best hosts, friendly, helpful and available. They made us feel completely at

home upon our arrival and their pup Bailey is a gem. Great location close to many nearby

towns and sites. House is large spacious, great amenities, well stock kitchen including

the welcome basket our hosts left for us. Plenty of room to spread out for families. Comfortable beds, Great pool and expansive views. Very memorable vacation for the entire family. Thanks again Amanda and Gary most appreciated for our wonderful stay.

A charming house, well located, but with some drawbacks.

  • 3 of 5

Our hosts were delightful and very helpful whenever we asked. The house is quite nice as well, but there were issues.

There is no door on the master bathroom.

The parking is very narrow and at a difficult angle, even by European standards. Plus, while there is space for two cars one of them is always parked in by the other and moving one can be a major effort. We ended up parking one car in the town lot about 300 meters away.

The house has a clothes washer but no drier, which is OK except that the house was not stocked with a lot of towels and getting them dry was a challenge (we had a few rainy afternoons).

Otherwise the place was great. Lagnes is a very small town, but quiet and just a modest drive from many places worth visiting.

Great locations with wonderful views.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time and our hosts where more than accommodating. Gary and Amanda are a wonderful couple from both the EU and the States so the language barrier was simplified for us.

The locations is great for site seeing. Nearly all the main sites are 30/45 min away with beautiful drives.

The house is huge! Great kitchen, bedrooms, outdoor areas and yard for kids, stand up showers and very clean.

Some side notes - beds a very firm, but comfortable and the living sofa is also a bit firm, but we where not in doors much. Lastly WiFi is a bit of a challenge, but again you should be out and about and the parking can be tricky if you have a larger car, the gate is very tight. However, after the first go at it we where pro’s and Gary is super helpful.

If we are in the area in the future this will be our place. Wish it was summer we would have jumped in the pool.

The house was great for us and perfectly located to see some wonderful sites close by. Amanda was wonderful with help and suggestions as to what and where to see and go! Our children loved their dog and our son even made sure he had a picture of them together 😀

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

Intermarché etc in L´isle sur la sorgue (ca. 10 Minuten).
