I am a pediatric Occupational Therapist and my husband is a high school teacher. We grew up in Wisconsin and Minnesota. My son Nick is in medical school at George Washington Univ. in D.C. and my daughter is in the Animal Behavior B.S. program at Indiana University Bloomington. We love World Golf Village:)

You will love the peaceful setting, the amenities, Mediterranean feel of the community, the beautiful grounds, Golf community, and proximity to downtown and beaches. We love the architecture and history of downtown St. Augustine, but love being out in this community where it is quiet, and you can walk, bike, play tennis and golf.
It feels like new Tuscany...the pool, portico and entry is so beautiful....the arches, trees and proximity to all tourist activities. I fell in love with this place online, just returned from my first visit December 2012 and vacation here regularly!
The room was beautiful and Laterra is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Florida subshine. It's a short drive from downtown. We had a lovely time and hope to come visit again
I rented this property for 6 weeks while in process of relocation for my job. It is a great set up for vacation/relaxation; however, did not meet my needs to accommodate being reachable for business. I had little to no cell reception in the unit; I had to step outside to make calls. I gave up on internet and ended up going to the office to work. The location is conveniently accessible to the interstate. It is a quiet and well kept resort. Parking is not designated to a spot nor is there an option for covered parking. The listing description was accurate; however, should mention poor cell reception. The owner of the property provided good service. I did find (after having time to research) other options that provided more value for the money closer to the beaches and center Jacksonville near the St Johns River.
I stayed in this condo with my family for 3 nights and it was perfect. Well maintained clean condo and just as described. The location was just perfect. Away from the tourist crowds and in a very quiet neighborhood. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and very quick to respond to any inquiries. I would recommend this location and definitely would stay here again.
I stayed at Laterra last year in a one-bedroom unit for 2 weeks. This time I was going to stay for a month. This one was so reasonable and since I am just one person, the studio layout was perfect for me. The unit is well furnished and equipped. As I was there in January and February, it was a little chilly but I was still able to use the patio on several occasions.
Maureen was wonderful to deal with and very helpful if there were any questions or issues.
I find the location to be ideal for me as my son and his family live close by.
As I was there for a month, the lack of laundry and Wi-Fi were inconvenient but not deal-breakers. I understand that the resort will be installing Wi-Fi next month, so that is fixed! I would definitely consider staying here again.
My husband and I were very happy with the studio condo that we rented. We had seen pictures before so we knew it was not a large place, but it was perfect for our stay in St. Augustine. Everyone was clean, comfortable and also arranged to give us the most space. The condo also has a private patio with a beautiful view of the woods behind us. Though the weather was a little chilly while we were there, we were still able to use the patio on occasion. We also had privileges to the fitness center, which I used often, and a beautiful pool.
If we had any questions or concerns, I could always reach the owner of the condo very quickly. For example, when we locked ourselves out once, she was able to help me reach the right person to let us in, saving us a lot of frustration from our own stupidity! She could be reached quickly by phone or email, so that was very helpful!
The condo is also near outlets, a Publix, several restaurants, the World Golf Museum, the King and Bear golf course, McDonald,s, CVS, etc. It is also a short ride to the famous city of St. Augustine, the oldest in the US, with its quaint streets and shops, museums, San Marco fort, Flagler College, the San Sebastian winery, and so much more!
In brief, I highly recommend staying at this condo! You will enjoy your stay as you explore a wonderfully exciting and historical area!
What a beautiful romantic place to visit. Great for couple or small family. The listing was just as the owner described. The property was clean and very well maintained. The owners were very friendly and more than helpful with any of our needs and questions. We picked a great week to visit because the weather was beautiful. We enjoyed everything it had to offer. You can spend a day in St. Augustine touring around. The property is close to Jacksonville. Flagler College is less than 30 minutes away with a number of wonderful places for visiting and dining. Local stores and restaurants are less than five minutes away. Everything seemed very accessible. We took in a day at Cocoa Beach too which is south about 2 hours. We did not want to drive more south to find rest and relaxation. This Studio was perfect for us. Quiet, relaxing, clean....fun!! I would highly recommend this dwelling to a friend.
Just outside of the village/gated community there is a grocery store, gas, Walgreens, CVS pharmacy, sushi, Chinese, pizza, McDonalds, and other restaurants within 5-10 minutes.

Depending on the time of year (high season-December-April and May-August), and how early you cancel, we will charge cancellation fees of $40.00 up to 75% of the cost of your reservation. I have not imposed any cancellation fees until Sept. 2016 but due to several last minute cancellations (and us having to still pay the vrbo fees) have had to impose these new fees.
Keys lost or not returned to mailbox: Key fob is $50.00 and replacement keys and re-keying lock will cost $150.00.
