The Windjammer is a beautiful condominium complex offering a large outdoor pool, outdoor grilling, off street parking. Unit 1G has master bedroom (queen bed) with bath; second bedroom has two full beds and flat screen tv; second bath off hallway; fully applianced kitchen; newly renovated dining/living areas with large flat screen TV, books, games. Free WiFi, cable included. Very relaxing and safe environment.

Private walkway access to the ocean, outdoor showers.

John and Cathy live in coastal New Hampshire and are Christians; John is a middle school teacher (math!) and Cathy is a paralegal. We have two grown children and have been vacationing at OIB since the late 1980s.

The beach at Ocean Isle is a safe, kid-friendly environment. The Windjammer is on the more-exclusive west end of the island and is always well-kept and maintained (even off season).

What makes this condo unique

The view of the ocean, whether from the living room or the private deck, is spectacular! Watching the dolphins and pelicans is entertainment in and of itself. You will be drawn to walk or run on the beach, bike rides from the west to east ends of the island are always enjoyable (approximately 8 miles).

Late summer/early fall getaway

My husband and I loved our stay at our unit at the Windjammer. Very easy to find. It was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The owners were extremely easy to communicate and deal with, and answered all of our questions. Easy access to the beach. Loved the oceanfront view. The whole island was beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there, although the time went much too quickly. Definitely would recommend to friends. Will definitely plan another trip to stay at this unit. Thanks again

Perfect Condo at Ocean Isle Beach's West End

We (couple) stayed here for a last-minute weekend getaway, and loved it. I've been going to Ocean Isle for 24 years and this condo is in a great spot. The West End of the beach is great, a walk to the Inlet between OIB and Sunset takes just a few minutes, and is great to see at both low and high tide. If you have children it's a great area at low tide due to all the shallow pools on the beach. Walking East to the pier is a nice walk as well. The condo has plenty of room (there were 2 of us but plenty of room for more), was perfectly clean, and has a great view of the ocean. Nice big flatscreen TV. Fully equipped kitchen. Elevator is very close to unit. Ocean Isle is great in the summer but we enjoy the winter months as well, there are plenty of restaurants open, no crowds anywhere, and you can get real lucky with nice days. We booked this place last minute and the owners were very accommodating and booking was simple. Recommended!

Unit is located in Ocean Isle Beach which is one of the most pristine barrier islands on the east coast. Centrally located between historic Wilmington, NC, and Myrtle Beach, SC; vacationers have an array of entertainment options to choose from during their stay.

The gradual taper of the beach and the east/west orientation of the island primarily offers family-friendly surf and waves.

Mini golf and PGA golf courses are numerous, as are many types of restaurants. The trip to Myrtle Beach to shop at the outlets and Barefoot at the Beach is a must. Historic Wilmington is a short trip up Highway 17.
