5 bedrooms & large lounge with gorgeous fireplace, big terrace & mountain views

This is a luxurious first floor, family run apartment, backing onto a stream, footpaths and cross-country skiing routes. The Gotchna-Parsenn cable car is a seven-minute walk or a 3 minute bus ride from the house, as is the Klosters train station.

The bus stop is located right outside the apartment. A swimming pool, ice rink and many restaurants and bars are all within easy reach and there is ample outside play and sledging space for children. The lounge has a large log fire for cosy evenings in. There is cable tv, video, DVD player,hifi ipod speakers available as well as broadband internet access.

There are breathtaking views of surrounding mountains from all bedrooms, kitchen and lounge. The master bedroom has an en-suite and walk-in cupboard, with direct access to the large balcony, also accessible from the kitchen and lounge. This is a beautiful and peaceful base for winter and summer holidays, when you can choose from a large selection of valley and mountain walks.

About Sheba

The apartment was purchased by my grandparents when it was first built. It is owned in trust and I manage it for the family. We rent it out when we are not using it, in order to help pay for its maintenance. This is one of only two larger apartments in the building. The building is a lovely traditionally built swiss chalet.

Why Sheba chose Prättigau/Davos

This is a warm, well furnished comfortable, spacious and gorgeous apartment. It sleeps 8 very comfortably but 10 at a squeeze. It has a wonderful location with panoramic view of the stunning Alps. It is quiet here but still a 5-10 minute walk to the Main Street in Klosters. There's a beautiful open fireplace.

What makes this apartment unique

Next to pond, canal , and summer swimming pool. Great access to transport. Parking for 1 car. Fantastic terrace on 3 sides of the property.

Lovely apartment in a good position.

Great holiday with family of 9 covering three generations.

The apartment was large and well appointed with the exception of the seating in the lounge area, where the chairs and settee were in need of replacement. This was reported to the owner on our return and we were assured that replacements would be purchased, hopefully this will happen as we would hope to ski again next year in Klosters, and would like to use the same accommodation.

Klosters is a great area for skiing for the whole family and the property is well situated with a supermarket near and easy walking into the town.

The seats you are referring to are of very good quality and nice materials however they are a bit outdated and they only seat 5-6. The apartment is usually aimed at a maximum of 8 occupants. Perfect family apartment

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious and well equiped. You can feel the atmosphere of a family owned apartment which provide a comfortable 'at home feel' stay. Warm welcome is provide by the location manager.

5 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms makes this apartment suitable for 2 large families.

Busstop is in front of the door but most facilities are witing walking distance (supermarket, skilift, walking trail, golfcourse and swimming pool/sport centre).

We plan to come back for sure!

Wonderful Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very spacious and comfy flat that accommodated 6 adults perfectly. The accommodation description is accurate and realistic. Everyone is our party was very comfortable in this clean and bright home. Mountain views and close to Klosters Platz, just a 10 minute walk on flat ground. The new kitchen was especially fun to cook in and well equipped. We enjoyed a cozy fire in the large lounge area and access to wifi network. The supermarket was very convenient to the flat, as was everything else really. The owners and manager were easy to work with and very helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful experience staying at Chesa Grisha and highly recommend it.

Great apartment in lovely Klosters

Perfect apartment for a two family holiday stay, with lots of space, really comfortable beds, 3 bathrooms and a brand new, well equiped kitchen. In a calm area with a ski bus stop just outside and a small but well-assorted supermarket a two minute walk away only. Within walking distance from the village centre too. Large balcony which we can image is lovely when it's not snowing...

Family Vacation in Klosters

We were welcomed at a very late hour by the warm and friendly manager of the apt at an extremely late hour.Found ourselves in a large spacious and children friendly apartment.It was clean and brightwith beautiful views from all the rooms.Located close to all amenities we spent a wonderful 2 weeks in Klosters which was enhanced by the fact that we came home every evening to a cosy flat.

Many thanks again.Would recommend it for anyone with a large family.By the way the kitchen needs renovating when you have achance but it is still manageable.

Nice and comfortable apartment - although outdated

We had a fabulous stay in Klosters for a week.

+ The apartment is really spacious and comfortable as other reviews mentioned, and also very well equipped for a small baby which was important for us.

+ As there was lots of snow, we could ski down (almost) straight to the door!

+ The service by the owner's representative in Klosters (Mitzi) is impeccable.

However, couple things which I marked with a minus:

- The flat is far from luxurious - esp considering the price. Kitchen is from the 70's and although had most of the utensils one needs, still cooking on the ancient stove is not something one is looking forward to in the "luxurious" flat! Same about the rooms - carpets had seen better days in the last few decades. TV was so old it kept switching off all the time. To be fair to the owners, everything is kept clean. However, there is nothing luxurious about it.

- Ski lifts are a fair walk away - 15 min - and that with the skis! The bus service does stop right in front, but only.... once an hour! even in the high season.

All in all, we had a nice stay - not sure we will go back, just from the price/quality perspective. However, if you are a truly big crowd which does not mind the drawbacks above, it could be worth a go!

Owner's Response: We are aware that the kitchen needs updating and we are intending to do this in the summer. The appartment has large rooms and is very well equiped. We have not had any previous problems with the TV, but we will mend or replace it. There is a range of lifts and they are a all at different distances. There is a bus, but Katarina is right in saying that it comes once an hour. The walk is between 10 and 15 minutes to town and to the Gotchna, depending on your speed and whether you have children with you or not. It is useful to have a car, but not necessary. In general we have had lots of positive responses to the appartment. But everybody has their own idea of what Luxurious entails. The appartment is housed with quality antique furniture and there is excellent quality fittings, sheet and towel. The appartment is a familly holiday home and therefore does not have the feel of a luxury hotel. It is a comfortable familly appartment for 8 people. Klosters in an expensive place. It is expensive to stay in hotels and in appartments in this area. This a large appartment with 5 bedrooms and this is unusual in Klosters. The appartment is competitively priced and is considerably cheaper than staying in the 'Luxury' hotels in Klosters. We value all of the feedback and will make sure that we respond to feedback by improving any areas for concern. Sheba
