Beautiful property in a great location

We stayed in this apartment for one week in late April for a family getaway. Petra, the property manager, was out of town on the day we checked in, so we were greeted by her husband who gave us a warm welcome and oriented us to the apartment and turned over the keys, as well as a cell phone for our personal use, that came in very handy during our stay for local calls. The apartment is very modern, was spotless, comfortably slept the five of us, and is located just feet from the ocean (and a private beach) as the pictures demonstrate. My wife and I grew very fond of the large walk-in closet in the Master Bedroom. The apartment is located in the Pietermaai neighborhood of Willemstad, a ~20 minute walk from the heart of Punda and the colorful Handelskade. We were very pleased to find and frequent several excellent restaurants in the immediate neighborhood (e.g. Fishalicious, Rozendaels, the Belle Terrace restaurant, and the Wine Cellar). We highly recommend this property and would definitely consider returning there if we go back to Curacao.

A place to remember

This property is really nice. A very good value. Waking up to this gorgeous beach every morning was such a delight. Plenty of nice beach chairs and palapas . Not crowded at all.The winds were pretty strong during our visit so we had to drive to more West beaches for good snorkeling. The last day we were there the ocean was less rough so we could see the potential of great snorkeling right outside our door. Lots of fish in the lagoon itself.

Groundfloor corner apartment makes this unit special and more private.

The kitchen could use a few more spoons, towels. Paper towels to at least start and more garbage bags. Detergent would be nice to have for a few loads at least.

The master is the highlight. Big open room with spacious walk in closet.

View to beach out window.

The 2nd bedroom is nice for family but twins are not so nice for another couple. 3rd bedroom would be fun for small kids.

Having three bathrooms is really nice. Could use washcloths,. Starter amenities like shampoo/conditioner, as many people carry-on these days, would be nice.

Petra was extremely helpful and very responsive about fixing a few little things like the ice maker and microwave. Also very good communicator from the first inquiry.

The close proximity to many nice waterfront restaurants and being within walking distance of old Willemstadt and the floating bridge makes this an excellent location .

Beautiful sunsets...

My daughter and I visited Curacao and stayed in this lovely apartment for nine wonderful days! The apartment is quite lovely, very comfortable, and quiet! It is also well equipped and very clean! Petra is just wonderful! So warm and helpful! When we arrived at the apartment, she had orange juice and the local bread ready for us hungry travelers! That was so appreciated! Thank you, Petra!

The sunsets on the beach are amazing! It was so nice to sit out there at night and soak in all the color. And mornings on the porch were delightful! Can't say enough wonderful things about this place! It was just perfect!

Location Is Hard To Beat - Right On The Beach

From this picture, it looks like you can walk right off your patio onto the beach. And you can. The unit is a perfect size for a family of four, or possibly a family of 5 with a young child. It has a spacious great room and master bedroom (with large bathroom), and an adequate second bedroom with a bathroom and two twins. The third bedroom has a nice bathroom, but is a very small room, suitable for a youngster.

The beach is generally very quiet, and protected by a barrier for calm swimming. The chairs are comfortable, especially if you use the cushions provided with the unit! There is also a table on the patio, and two large chairs. The patio is very spacious.

There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance, and we recommend MOSA, Rozendaels and Seasons (we were disappointed with Bij Blauw which is also a further walk). The area seems very safe, and there are usually guards around the Avila (a large resort hotel close by). The Strand is gated, and typically has a security guard on duty.

Petra, the property manager for this unit (E1), was very responsive, and even picked up a frew items for us upon our arrival. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Amazing Holiday Experience

We stayed at this beautiful apartment for a week, it was amazing. It had all the necessary tools to cook at home and all the necessary amenities to get a hotel like feeling. The residence in general are very clean and well maintained, the security is great, the beach is literally two steps away from the dining area and the sunset views are unreal. The location is great to get to very nice restaurants and bars, you can experience one of the best areas of Curacao just by walking around for 20 min or so. We were very pleased with Petra which was the property manager, she was super helpful and even included a small mobile phone with the flat just in case we needed to contact any kind of local service. Great experience overall, and I would definitely come back.

Nice Condo, Great Location!

We just returned from an 8 night stay and this condo was great! This unit is nice, clean, with excellent water views in prime location. It is located about a 10 minute walk to the harbor, and within a 5 minute walk to excellent restaurants. The unit has excellent views of the Caribbean and of the boats coming in and out of the harbor. My favorite part about this unit, is the surprisingly good snorkeling just outside your door! The clarity in the lagoon isn't the best, but there are still plenty of fish. For the best snorkeling, go out of the protected lagoon, and swim along the outside of the rocks of each lagoon to the right. It may look a bit rough, but if you are an everage swimmer, you will be ok. The water really clears up, and there are tons of beautiful fish. The guards are very friendly, and Petra quickly responds to any questions you have during your stay. The AC is cold and the appliances worked well. The master bedroom is large and spacious. The second bedroom is medium sized with a nice bathroom. The third bedroom is tiny and only big enough for two children.
