About this property

Serenity Country Cottage Guest Suite

The tranquility and beauty of this property will make you want to book another night! On a quiet country road surrounded by nature this beautiful country cottage is nestled in the woods on an 8 acre horse farm. Wonderful for long walks or that early morning jog without the distraction of passing cars. Minutes from shopping and easy access to town.
This guest house is on a horse farm and is attached to a shop. It was made that way by the farmer I bought the property from. The pictures you see are the inside of the suite itself. The outside of the building is metal with shutters.

Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). Located between Memphis and Nashville.

Quant and Quiet
Absolutely lovely property. We were very comfortable and had an extremely good time in the country. The host really made it all the more enjoyable. We will be staying there again in the near future.

Marketing Wiz For A Shed
I have to say that my expectations were probably too high, but I was disappointed. When we drove up, I had to call the host because all I saw was a house on the left side of the gravel driveway and a garage shed on the right. Yep, our guest suite was actually in a shed. Now I know why there were no pictures of the outside. The grounds around the shed were unkempt, so walking the dog was a challenge. The interior of the shed was a surprise because it didn’t fit the outside. Clean and furnished okay. The sofa area was small and we only used it for our suitcase. The two chairs in the bedroom were comfortable, and we were able to read for awhile with dim lighting. The bathroom was also small, and the shower was minuscule with a shower curtain that couldn’t contain the erratic water spray. There wasn’t a microwave in the unit, but owner offered to let us use the one in the house. No kitchenette, just a coffee maker. The queen size wrought iron bed was the saving grace. It was extremely comfortable, and we got a good nights’ sleep. And the price was reasonable. The marketing for this property was exceptional, but the property itself was just so-so. We won’t be staying there again.

I am a high energy person that after 40 years of living and traveling all over the USA and world have decided to move back home and connect with my roots again. So I bought a small horse farm and am in the process of making it comfortable for travelers like me. I'm a master gardener, licensed auctioneer and global sales and marketing consultant ( as my real job!). I love hosting on this property to give it additional company. In a very short time, I have met some incredible people and look forward to all my new guests!

Why they chose this property

Tranquil, peaceful escape from the world around us. Take time to sit and just listen to the beautiful sounds of the birds or on a clear night a breathtaking view of the stars. You can arrange for private massages, private yoga lessons in the Eagles Nest or else where on the property. There is a replica of the largest reported Eagles Nest in the United States. You will see it as you drive in near the vintage merry-go-round and picnic area. You might want to schedule a picnic in the nest and birdwatch or sunset watch from the view. Enjoy the horses and please let me know if you want to pet or feed. The love apples and carrot treats. You can take a nice two mile jog down the country road in the early AM to relieve additional stress of your journey. Concierge services available will allow you to prearrange anything your heart desires. Just ask for additional pricing on any of these enjoyable items. Guests say they sleep the absolute best here. I hope you do as well.

What makes this property unique

Off the beaten path and the only farm left on the road. Includes 9 acres of a very secluded and private farm. No one is allowed on the property without my permission in advance. Both properties on the farm are on VRBO. If you are bringing pets and they are anything other than lap dogs you will want to book the larger farm house. Both properties are charming and well appointed.
