Beautiful lake home (chalet) for vacation rental! Large dock can handle your boating and jet ski needs. The home is in a 5 MPH zone and 300 ft to fast water. There are 3 large decks with plenty of seating and 180 degree views of the lake. Home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, large living room and large kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped to meet your vacation needs. A coffee maker and toaster are also supplied. You can seat 8 at the kitchen counter. Sleeps 6-8. There is an upstairs master bedroom with shower/tub, and 2 ground level bedrooms with Queen and a Full Size bed. Two futons in the front room provide additional sleeping. The front room has satellite TV and comfortably seats 8. WI-FI is available for your internet access needs. The home is equipped with central air/heat. The home is adjacent to O'Byrnes Ferry Rd and subject to road noise. This is a family home designed for family vacations. The home is not designed for large group parties. There is limited parking for 4-5 vehicles.

For those in need of additional housing, we have a one bedroom unit with kitchen, bath (shower/tub), and small living room. The unit is approximately 700 square feet, has central air conditioning & heating, Satellite dish and is adjacent to the chalet. It shares the same decking with the chalet as well. If you are a fisherman you will love catching bass, trout, crappie, blue gill and catfish right off our private deck. You can barbeque on the deck. The lake is full from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The rest of the year, the lake is lowered 15 feet. In the spring and fall you can take advantage of the wonderful trails for hiking and biking and don’t forget to play a round of golf at beautiful Saddle Creek which is less than five miles from the house. In the winter you can enjoy snow boarding and skiing at one of the nearby ski resorts. In the evening you can warm up with either a romantic bottle of wine or some hot chocolate by the fireplace. There are nearby shops and casinos that offer family games such as bowling and an arcade. Lake Tulloch and the surrounding area offers several activities and family fun all year long. You can day trip over to Yosemite. Boating, wakeboarding, jet skiing, fishing and swimming make this the perfect get away for families during the summer.

If you like watching osprey (raptors), they snatch fish from the lake in the morning and late afternoon and can be watched from our decks, since we have 2 osprey nests on telephone poles near our home.

My brothers and I have been vacationing in Copperopolis for over 40 years. We grew up around the water and have always enjoyed boating, fishing, and water skiing. Lake Tulloch is where we spent endless summers with family and friends. The lake has always been a get-a-way to relax and forget the day to day worries during the work week.

We could swim and fish during the summer months and go winter skiing at Dodge Ridge or Bear Valley during the Winter. Since we love to golf, there are several wonderful golf courses minutes away. The local towns of Sonora, Angels Camp, Murphy, Columbia and the surrounding area offer many activities for you and your family. You can visit the caves, daffodil hill, gold panning, etc. You are 70 miles from Yosemite and can leave in the morning, have lunch at the Yosemite Lodge and and return to the Lake for Dinner.

What makes this house unique

The location of this home offers amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. During the summer you will enjoy all the boating activities such as jet skiing, water skiing and tubing around the lake. This location offers great views of the lake and easy access to your boats or toys. The owner is very attentive and prompt in communication. This is our second year renting the house, and we enjoyed our trip.

The place was very clean when we arrived. It had everything we needed. Fresh, clean towels and bedsheets. The location on the lake is great! We really enjoyed it there and would recommend it to anyone and would love to stay there again.

Great house at a perfect location

Everything was just as stated in the profile. Theee bedroom with the "master suite" upstairs where the baby slept (and cried) and did not wake up everyone else. Two other bedrooms downstairs and a large family room. Has everything you need. Just bring the food !! Perfect spot for a family get together. We will definitely be back next year.

Great space & location on the lake

This house was perfect for our stay! Great spot on the lake, close to glassy water in the morning, and an east-facing deck, so you could actually sit outside in the afternoon/evening (other places we've stayed with west-facing decks get the sunset, but it's usually too hot to enjoy until well after dark). The dock gets a lot of rollers, so make sure you have a lot of bumpers for your boat, but it's a private dock and easy to dock (unlike some houses on the lake that have really narrow spaces that you have to get your boat in and out of). The only draw back was the garbage situation - you have to take your trash to the county dump at the end of your stay. It's free, but only open Friday-Monday. Since we left on a Thursday, we had to haul our trash back home. Other than that, the house was great and John and Pat were super easy to work with.

The home worked well for our purposes with out of town guests able to commute by boat to our home on the lake thanks to the dock at the house. The deck and dock have incredible views of the lake.

The house itself is older but reasonably well appointed though the 2 bathrooms are marginal for the 3 bedrooms. The kitchen was good and the living area opened to the lake views very nicely. The upstairs bedroom of the A-frame style house could get warm in the extreme heat of the summer, but was comfortable during our visit.

The guests did have objections that the water heater did not work the first day as a reset button had disconnected the power. They eventually found the reset and had adequate hot water after that. Road noise was an issue, and would have been significant if the guests had been in the home extensively during the week when heavy truck traffic would have been very disruptive.

Owner's Response: We have an electrician checking out the cause of the water heater reset and will replace if necessary. We have one master bathroom that has a sitting area, sink, bath tub with shower. The downstairs bathroom was added to the home years ago and is smaller but does have a shower, sink and toilet. We installed a new 2.5 ton A/C unit last year. The home will adequately handle a 20 degree differential in cooling the home on hot days. Cooling is some what dependent on the number of people and number of times they go in and out through the sliding glass doors to access the decks. The home is along the main road and is therefore subject to vehicle noise. As a general rule, we have found the traffic to be light most of our guests have not had a problem.

When you first come up to the house your not sure where to park it say parking for four cars but I don't think so also the house next to the house we rented had two big crane truck in the from .We found dirty short behind a door and the blanket where so dirty, cob webs on the ceiling and Windows for the price i paid it was not worth it the only good thing we the lake few

Owner's Response: The home does have adequate parking with 70 feet double wide parking in front of the garage and home. The heavy duty trucks belong to our neighbor and are temporarily parked at his home. The home is a high beamed chalet A-frame home. We do our best to remove cob webs during the year. We fumigate as time permits between guest rentals. The shorts (bathing suit) was left on the back of the bathroom door and staff missed it. All bedding is cleaned and any dirty blankets are cleaned by the cleaning staff or replaced with new blankets. This is an issue we will revisit with the staff.
