Excellent property, as described it is set in a secluded woodland with surrounding fields.
Great for switching off from the world but still with access to wifi and English TV should you need it. Great welcome pack plus the pool is an added bonus as we had excellent weather for the whole two weeks :) Shops and amenities only a few km's away and lots to do and see in the area, Would defiantly recommend.
Thank you for your lovely review of Ty Bois, we are so please you enjoyed you stay there. And thank you for saying you would recommending it.
Lovely and peaceful - a wonderful setting!
We loved our stay, the location of the property was amazing and everything we hoped it would be. It catered for all ages and the dog loved the woods and the boat! We left the property feeling immensely relaxed. Our only comment would be that it could do with a really good clean. It was so dusty that we had to clean and hoover as their were so many cobwebs.
I am very pleased to hear that you enjoyed our house, but very concerned that the house was not up to standard cleanliness wise. I have passed your comments on to Matt and Sue so hopefully it does not happen again. I am deeply sorry and hopefully it will not happen again.
Beautiful setting, relaxing break
Ty Bois is just as peaceful as it looks in the photos. It’s surrounded by fields and wildlife. The house is very clean with lots of extra supplies you would not normally expect. We lived staying here and exploring the chateaux and rivers nearby.
Thank you for you lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed The peace and quiet of Ty Bois as much as we do. Thank you again.
Quiet relaxing peaceful
We had a wonderful relaxing much needed holiday.
Peace and tranquility
We stayed here from the 6th September for 10 days the only disappointing thing was the weather in rained at some point everyday but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves we still used the heated pool went for lovely walks around the accommodation. There is so much to do around the area and the beaches aren't to far away which we visited twice. As for the cottage itself truly wonderful so quirky and full of charm a very relaxing holiday we will be back again sometime in the future.
Thank you for your lovely review. We were staying at our other house and know just how up and down the weather was and we did think about you. Thank you again and we are so pleased that you loved our house in the woods.
Wonderful relaxing quiet comfortable place
The house was everything we needed to relax and unwind. Our son loved playing in the woods building a camp, fishing in the lake and looking for the corks hidden around the grounds. For us the area was fantastic, the cycling along the tow path, walks, trip to the beach. The general atmosphere and just chilling out in the peace and quite was perfect. The house had everything we needed. We will be back
Ty Bois is set in its own 5 acre wood, half mile from it closest neighbour and is surrounded by countryside. It is an ideal setting for walks, over the fields, walking or cycling by the river or canal, or on the quiet country lanes. It is about 40 mins. drive from the coast of Morbihan, with its golden sandy beaches. The nearest market town is Pontivy or the smaller town of Baud. Plumeliau has 2 supermarkets, bread and fresh fish-shop, chemist, florist and local vet. The area has numerous medieval towns, churches, châteaux, markets in various towns every day. Carnac has excellent beaches as well as the neolithic standing stones. Vannes is a beautiful medieval harbour town, good fish restaurants, great market on Saturday you can buy everything here, fresh bread, fish, local veg, cheeses, pate or gifts to take home. There is canoeing, sailing, horse riding, go karting, golf, fishing, bowling, Camours adventure forest, tennis courts, archery, all within an easy drive of the house.

Or if you are the energetic type with in easy reach is the go-karting, Plumeliau, canoeing, archery St Nicholas des Eaux, horse riding and 9 hole golf at Gieuzy-les-Eaux, the forest adventure park, zip wires, tree top adventures at Camours, sailing, water ski-ing, jet sking either at Lac de Guerledan. Lac du Duc or at the coast (nautismebretagne.fr) The closest beaches are in the Gulf de Morbihan and spread for miles and miles, Carnac is a good place to start with the childrens area, little white train that take you to see the standing stones. The penisula to Quiberon has long empty sandy beaches.
