Villa Blue was conceived based on the same philosophy as Villa White,i.e. to create a blend of clean lines, functionality and absolute comfort.
The lounge is coolly elegant and presents a crisp and sophisticated interior. Constituting the core of this luxury villa, it provides all necessary facilities for a comfortable and care-free get-away.
The spacious lounge area is connected to the stylish bedroom with its inviting king-size bed, offering an ideal setting for repose and indulgence. Another striking feature is the uniquely designed, curved walk-in shower.
The kitchenette provides the possibility of unparalleled Caldera views whilst preparing the breakfast or the afternoon aperitifs, preferably served on the stunning outside terrace.
These luxury villas sit in a quiet and exclusive Caldera setting in the heart of vibrant Oia village and from their terraces they offer tranquillity and uninterrupted views of the Caldera, its volcanic islets and the Aegean.

Down a steep series of staircases, the house is spacious and will equipped, with a wonderful bedroom and shower, separate toilet and small but functional kitchen. The view down the caldera to the Aegaen from the patio is the highlight. The owner was very communicative and helpful in making arrangements as well as answering any questions
Wonderful place to stay! The villa was beautifully updated with in perfect location in Oia. The view was amazing. Johan and Vivi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and our stay comfortable. They thought of everything! Highly recommend as a vacation destiny! If coming in winter be ready for some quiet time. Not much to do but still beautiful!
we arrived at about 10.00pm local time when Oia was still buzzing with people. we were absolutely thrilled with the villa and the view we had a night. just a short walk and we were in the middle of all the local restaurant's and bars all of which were so welcoming with excellent food. the next morning when we went outside we were amazed at the view that greeted us. we had seen all the pictures about in all honesty the pictures did not do the view justice. the villa has a lovely terrace which is a real sun trap but the villa remains cool all day. the shower was brilliant and the bed was so comfy. the villa was cleaned during our stay and all bedding and towels changed to a very high standard. all in all I could not fault anything with this villa and would recommend it to any one. it was simply the perfect holiday.
My husband and I stayed in Greece for 2 weeks on our honeymoon, 3 of those nights being in this villa. We wish we would've stayed here longer! The villa was clean and well kept, with AMAZING views! It was exactly what we saw in the pictures posted on home away. We would have been perfectly content lounging in the villa doing nothing else, drinking our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening while taking in the amazing views. The bed was larger and more comfortable than any that we slept in while in Greece, and the fact that the villa is essentially a cave, it blocked out all of the sunlight in the morning allowing us to sleep in. The open shower in the bedroom was also quite impressive and romantic. Johan was in constant communication with me, from the time I put down our deposit. He gave great recommendations and arranged transportation to the villa upon our arrival. This made our trip from the port to the villa very easy, and I highly recommend doing this. We plan to come back on our 5 or 10 year anniversary!
We stayed for two weeks in Villa Blue in Oia having found the villa on line. Booking with Johann was easy and communication throughout the whole process was fast, professional and very easy. All our questions were answered and we were provided with lots of information prior to and during our two week stay in Oia.
The villa itself is just as advertised. Beautifully located, stunning inside, very clean and cool even during the hotter days. The lovely lady cleaning our room did a fabulous job, we could not fault her at all and she too was also very helpful.
The shower is perfect, the bed very, very comfortable which was a blessing given that I have a spinal condition which means that sometimes I do not sleep as well as I do at home. The whole villa was well laid out with all of the things we needed for our two week stay. The only thing that was missing for me was a coffee percolator or a cafetiere however this is a minor point as we cannot fault anything else at all.
It is a perfect location, just two flights of stairs from the main streets in Oia. Within walking distance was the sunset view although we did tend to give this a miss as it can get very busy in the early evenings especially with the cruise ship visitors. Whilst sitting on the terrace we had a perfect, clear view of the caldera which is just what we wanted. No interruptions and very few people wandering down. Those that did tended to just take photographs of the views and leave very quickly. We have already recommended the villa to a number of friends who have asked for details as it was a perfect stay for us. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful views and a really lovely location for our first visit to Oia and to Santorini.
We hired a car for a couple of days and drove around the island to the beaches and to see some of the historic sights. Whilst Fira was not particularly for us - far too busy and commercialised, we did enjoy our trips out and it is so worth doing this.
As for restaurants in Oia, there are far too many to mention however we particularly recommend Ochre and also 39 Steps coffee bar which is located just above the villa. We also enjoyed the pool bar near to the windmill called Lioyerma. You can use the sunbeds and the pool and pretty much stay all day. Overall a fantastic holiday. We would definitely not hesitate in returning to Santorini again. Thank you Johann for your hospitality and for sharing this lovely piece of Oia with us.
With exception of the classical Greek monuments, the iconic village of Oia on the Northern tip of the Santorinian Caldera rim is probably the most frequently photographed location in Greece. With its picturesque cliff-edge houses, imposing captains’ mansions, cobbled marble streets and ubiquitous blue-domed churches, Oia presents the ultimate Cycladic experience. Oia boasts the most hip and refined restaurants, hotels and clubs on Santorini and arguably the most sublime sunset in the Mediterranean.
