The accommodation is a ground floor 2 bedroom duplex apartment with superb views, the front patio overlooks the golf fairway with views of the sea and marina.
Because the accommodation has a terrace front and back you can sunbathe all day if you wish without having to leave the apartment!
The front terrace has 1 Table and 4 chairs, the back Terrace has 4 sun loungers
The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need for a family holiday: Large corner unit/sofa bed, Large table and 4 chairs, American style kitchen/dinning area, Large fridge freezer, Washing machine, Microwave, Ceramic hob and oven,
TV has BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, 4, 5 Sports, 2 Movie Channels.
Bedroom 1 has double bed, Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, fitted Wardrobes, the lounge and bedrooms all have ceiling fans.
Thank you for a superb week in your apartment. As the pictures showed the accommodation was immaculately decorated, very clean, up to date and very comfortable, it certainly lent itself to the restful relaxed holiday that we had hoped for.
The proximity of the Amarilla Golf and Golf Del Sur Golf coures meant we were perfectly placed for both Golf and quality entertainment. the views towards the marina and the coastal path were ideal. Terrfic views across the marina and up to the mountains were complimented by some very good golf, some of it taking place right in front of the patio. In all the position, standard of decor and quality of the accomodation at the price charged is almost unbelievable.

We arrived at the apartment late.
On the first night my wife went to the bathroom and had a shard of glass cut her foot.
There was at least six pieces of glass on the floor.
When I woke the following morning I was looking up at a mass of cobwebs.
There were cobwebs all around the cornice`s of both bedrooms, laden with dust.
The floor around the perimeters of the rooms were thick with black dust.
There were splash marks part way up wardrobe doors which could have been from a "number" of things
The floor around the cooker was covered in food as was the drawer below the cooker.
The insides of all the wardrobes were thick with dust.
I called the contact number given, the lady I spoke to blamed "new cleaners"
Even one poor clean could not account for the dirt that had built up in the property.
the cleaners returned twice but still left it filthy.
I have taken photographs of all the above and did write to the owner (no response)
The "cleaners" obviously do not have any concept of cleanliness or they are just ripping
the owner off, to the detriment of his investment.
I have had rental property in Spain and am aware how much dust can blow around.
I am also fully aware that this property as been sadly neglected and not as a result of "one" poor clean
I have travelled around the world, stayed at some very expensive accommodation and some very cheap accommodation.
This was by far the DIRTIEST accommodation I have had the misfortune to stay at.
I trust that the owner will be reimbursing me with a substantial amount.
The apartment is in a good location with a friendly community and good pool access. The location was ideal and it was good to have lots of TV channels. The sheets and towels were changed half way through the stay which was nice. The owner and on-call contacts were helpful. It seems though that we had paid much more than others staying in the same block and our apartment was a little tired around the edges in places. The bedroom wardrobes were dirty, the bathroom fittings rusted, the kitchen cupboard under the sink smelt really bad and only 50% of the light bulbs were working. I think it is in need of a deep clean and spruce up. Quite average overall.
We decided on this appartment after reading all the revues, none of them had anything negative to say. The owner always replied very quickly. The other couple who arrived the day before we did, had a very disappointing first impression though. The appartment hadn't been cleaned or beds made etc. Thankfully the owners contact walked by and managed to get the cleaners to come within 30 mins. When my friend called me, she warned me that the appartment wasn't what she was expecting. Her view was that the photographs were taken a couple of years earlier. We arrived the next evening, but unfortunately our friends had to return on our flight because of a death in the family. We were shocked when we walked in. The appartment is dated and tired. It needs completely gutting and everything replaced and painting. The kitchen needs replacing, two of the units were held together with a brown
tape. The kettle is also temperamental, you have to wiggle it!!! One of the plugs in the twin bedroom doesn't work, some of the doors in the bedrooms don't shut properly and there was only one light bulb in the bathroom that worked, but that was one more than when our friends arrived! Before they had to return home, they had decided to look for somewhere else to stay. Something else you need to consider is there isn't any screens on the doors. We weren't bothered about this until a rat came in one night and the next a cockroach! Because there isn't any air con, having the doors shut each night makes it even more unbearably hot and hard to sleep. There are ceiling fans in each room, as long as you don't mind the dust coming off them when you first turn them on...
The pool is lovely though, apparently you can use three of them. One thing we weren't told about was you need to take the blue disc to operate the gate to get in. There is also a water machine by the pool, 50cents for 5liters, good
price as its €1.75 at the shop.
There are a few restaurants locally and a shop which seems to have just about everything you need, toilet rolls being one of them, as only one left!
Would I rent this properly again ? Defiantly not!
The best thing about the appartment was the view from the back patio - the golf course!
Located on the Amarillo course side of the valley, away from the main restaurants and bars at Golf Del Sur, which are 10-minutes walk away, the apartment is in a quiet and secure position, with a mini-market (very expensive but convenient for the odd items) and ATM situated 5-minutes walk from the apartment.
The area is ideal if you wish to be away from the buzz of Los Cristianos but close enough for a reasonably priced taxi or bus to go there for the odd night out. Los Abrigos, with its famous fish restaurants is a pleasant 30-min coastal walk from the apartment and Las Galettes is a short bus/taxi away.
The apartment is clean and well maintained, with a kitchen/lounge downstairs and two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. A patio both in front and behind the apartment gives options for outside living in sun or shade all day long.
The complex has three pools to choose from and we found that every day we had no problem obtaining sun beds - no need to wake early to lay out towels!!
Taxi's can be found 200m from the apartment next to the mini-market. When arriving from the airport or returning from a night out it useful to explain to the taxi that the apartment is opposite Scorpio pool bar.
During our three week stay the apartment was serviced each week with clean towels and sheets. The owner also has support on hand locally if any maintenance is required. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend this apartment to those who are looking for a relaxing time in the sun away from the main nightlife of the bigger resorts
We have just returned from a most enjoyable week at Amarillo Golf on the south coast of Tenerife.
The apartment was exactly as described being clean and spacious with all the facilities we could have wished for. All the rooms are of a good size with comfy beds and plenty of wardrobe space. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a T.V. in the lounge with Spanish and English stations. The area is safe and beautifully quiet overnight so it's easy to get a good night's sleep.
Patios at front and rear make dining outside or sunbathing on the sunbeds provided a real pleasure, yes even in December! (temperatures in the high 70's for our visit).
Situated with stunning views of the island's best golf course and the ocean and within easy walking distance of a wide range of restaurants, bars and a local supermarket. Taxis and hire cars are readily available but we hired mountain bikes and enjoyed the local roads and trails along the coast.
The owner was very helpful, replied to any questions really quickly by email and ensured that the booking process was easy.
We would highly recommend this apartment to holidaymakers looking for a break in the sun at any time of year!

Well we arrived back on 26 Feb 2015 after 11 weeks of relaxation in your exceptional apartment , it was all as described , all very clean and comfortable .
The double bed was probably one of the most comfortable that we have slept in and that includes our timeshare in Los Cristianos . The apartment location was ideal being adjacent to the golf course yet only 5 minuets walk to restaurants and the local supermarket .
We found the apartment on 2 floors ideal as the very well equipped and very clean kitchen and lounge on the lower floor with the 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the upper floor provided the feeling of space with ample storage in the bedrooms for our long stay .
We must congratulate your service team on their prompt reaction to any problems that could occur . We only had 2 very minor issues during our 11 weeks stay , one being the iron which operated as and when , but on reporting the issue to Suzi it was replaced without fuss in a couple of hours , as was a leaking shower hose . The ladies changing towels and bed linin , we found friendly and helpful proving us with local information .
In all a very memorable holiday for all the right reason's and we have no hesitation in recommending your apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday , yet within in easy walking for evenings entertainment and dinning .
