Beautiful 1400 square foot 2 bedroom in a Spanish-Style fourplex built in 1926 with VIEWS of Hollywood Hills in the CHARMING, HISTORIC, neighborhood of HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS.

Hollywood Living at it's Finest! Just 5 BLOCKS from the Metro and the world-famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre, yet still private and intimate. Why drive when it's a quick walk down to EVERYTHING? Want to go to the Hollywood Bowl? Four blocks. Get on the freeway? Five blocks, yet it is completely unheard and unseen. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!

The master has lovely views and direct access to the bathroom. the 2nd bedroom is partially separated by drapes (see photos), and both bedrooms have queen beds. There is an inflatable queen mattress available and the couches (though they do not pull out). This property is ideal for two, can easily fit four-six , though for six guests we prefer you rent our larger property in the same building. There is laundry, dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, Super high speed wifi, a massage chair, cable, an AC/heat unit in the living room, TVs in each bedroom, DVD players, Directv, and it has its own entrance. The Bathroom and lighting has just been remodeled, the furniture newly reupholstered, and we are constantly upgrading our properties' amenities. The entrance is down 15 steps from street level, so this property is not wheelchair accessible, though the entire unit is on one level.

Originally built for a silent film star, this building has had a long history of famous tenants, including the Oscar-Winning screenwriter of 'The Sting' and many actors and actresses!

PLEASE READ: There is NO assigned parking, but available street parking which is permit (we have a guest pass for your use).

There is a 3-Night Minimum stay unless there's last minute vacancy, and there is a $100 cleaning fee :-) Please see our other listing VRBO 208878 if you have a larger group. it is a HUGE 3+3 in the same building, so you also may book both to accommodate your party. This property is not appropriate for parties and late night antics, given its position in the building, but is wonderful for travelers, tourists and small families. For your safety and ours, the entrance is on camera. If there is no damage found, the damage deposit is refunded automatically directly from VRBO after 7 days. There is NO smoking in this property!

Great value in this Holllywood Heights home!

Very impressed! Came here for the weekend to stay with some friends, it was perfect. A very cozy house with a whole lot of that old-hollywood-charm! You can tell that the owner puts a lot of pride and character into the home, even his own personality shines through. There are several design styles represented in the house from modern to retro that make it appealing to many tastes. Kevin (the owner) was very accommodating considering it was a last minute booking.

The layout makes the house feel very big. We were there with exactly 6 people (3 couples.) Keep in mind that the second bedroom is separated but with curtains, however there is privacy. It was kept very clean and the surrounding neighborhood felt safe. We actually talked with neighbors and they were great!

There is anything that you would need fore a home away from home, blankets, kitchen items and gadgets, washer dryer, etc.

I would definitely stay here again, considering the price, value, and closeness to everything!

Excellent Location!

Kevin is great! He made the experience as easy and as smooth as possible. Check-in was easy and extremely convenient and Kevin even worked with me when it came to an early check-in. The property is very cozy and comfortable and I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Very clean, neat, and well-decorated! Location is great! The property is walking distance to everything yet tucked away and secluded for a sense of privacy. The Yamashiro Restaurant that overlooks LA is only a few minutes walking distance away and I recommend it as well! This is definitely a 5-star rental property! I may even use the same location for my next visit!

P.S. The massage chair at the front door is absolutely amazing and a very great idea for weary travelers!

Vacation and visit

This was a really nice home, in a nice quiet area. Parking was tight, but sufficient, and we always found a place on the street outside. Very nicely decorated and furnished. The beds were comfortable, a plus when you are traveling. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location and property

We had a little trouble finding the address late at night but once we found the correct building all was great. The address numbers get smaller as you go up the hill. Parking wasn't much of an issue for us but it is easiest with a small car and you might need to head up the hill a bit. Shower was great-good water pressure. Beds and bedding were comfortable and our family felt very much at home here. Perfect place to come back to after a day of touring all LA has to offer. Close enough to be able to walk to Hollywood Blvd and The Walk of Fame. Massage chair is wonderful! Highly recommend a stay at this home. Kevin was easy to work with. We texted as needed. Be prepared to walk up the many hills and steps in the area! Enjoy the city-lots of fun!

Worked out great!!!

We traveled from Sacramento to visit family for my father's 90th birthday. We had 3 teenagers (2 girls/1 boy). This placed worked out great! Everyone had space to relax after driving around LA. There was a nice Sushi restaurant right down the street (could have walked but drove). Parking was described accurately. We had a Sienna van but found parking up the hill. Kevin was very helpful. We had no problems. Thanks for everything!

Guests will be IMMEDIATELY evicted from the property if evidence of smoking of any kind is present inside. No groups of more than 10 persons unless explicitly agreed upon by myself or an acting manager. There is no wheelchair access. Entire property is on one floor, even though there are stairs. Our other unit is also available for rent and there is door at the top of the stairs which may connect the two if guests have booked both properties. It otherwise remains locked. Filming is prohibited unless previously discussed with owner and with proper insurance. There is a different higher rate for filming. Guests are on camera when arriving and leaving, for your protection and ours.
