Had s great stay at this property, clean, quiet, check in fantastic and allowed us to drop out bags off early at the property as we arrived on an early flight. Great location and nice and quiet. Pool heating would be a major bonus as we went in October but fantastic bslue for the money paid. Will certainly consider in the future.

Exceptional Villa - better than imagined

Had a fantastic time at the villa, it is so well appointed, the sun shone on the pool all day. The villa was very well stocked and had absolutely everything needed for a great stay and was very comfortable. We will be booking for next year. We hired a car due to being just a bit outside of the main area of Vilamoura and driving on the other side was no problem. The marina is only a 10 min drive and has some great restaurants and a spar is only a few minutes down the road. Pool Staff and Cleaning Staff attended to the property whilst we were there and did an excellent job. From making the booking with Paulo to getting home everything went without a hitch and the welcome pack when we arrived was super. Many thanks.

Beautiful villa in a lovely location

We had a wonderful week staying at Villa Machado. The accommodation itself is extremely well maintained both inside and outside. The rooms are all very spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. The little summer room is great as you can eat your meals here when it is hot but still feel you are outside.

The gardens are lovely with gorgeous plants and terraces. The pool was fantastic. We were so lucky with the weather that we were able to swim most days. It's a real suntrap here and you feel a million miles away from everywhere soaking up the sun on the sun loungers.

Vilamoura is a great base for a stay in the Algarve. We visited Faro, Tavira, Ihla de Tavira and the lovely beach Praia de Falaisia by the marina. We also drove to the villages of Querenca and Alte which are beautiful small towns inland and definitely worth exploring. - they are not too far away We also headed west to Cabo de San Vicente and Praia Da Almeiria.

The staff at Vilamoura Villas are extremely helpful. The food welcome pack really was welcome on our arrival after our flight with everything we needed for a supper and breakfast the next day. Paolo was brilliant at communicating with us before our visit, answering all our initial queries. Fernando was very helpful showing us the villa and in dealing with our check-out.

All in all a wonderful holiday. We would highly recommend Villa Machado as a fantastic family villa and Vilamoura Villas as a highly professional company.

Although, you have bar, restaurant, sports centre and golf course within walking distance, some sort of transportation is needed to go to the beach and centre, which is 4kms away. A lovely property with everything you could need as a family. The pool and Garden excellent too.

Very happy with the property and the location. Get safe with the gated front. We chose this because we wanted somewhere with a private pool and a nice garden, so this was perfect for our family. We visited with 5 adults and 2 small children. The property had 3 parasols, so that made me happy to be able to keep the kids in the shade!

Excellent

Myself my partner and 3 small boys stayed at this villa and it was perfect for us . there was a large garden to the front and a beautiful swimming pool at the back which gave the kids lots of room play and run around . the house inside was decorated to a high standard and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need . The pictures of the bathrooms do not match what is in the house as they has been redone . the bathrooms were like something from a 5 star hotel . We did have one incident where the pipe from the dishwasher broke and leaked water into the kitchen but with one call the agent had someone in the house within half an hour and it was fixed with absolutly no fuss , which was fantastic . the area is nice and quite and night and there a cleaning service which came twice during the week we stayed there who were quick and efficent and very friendly . We will definitly be renting this villa again and would recommend it to anyone .

Vilamoura Europe’s largest private tourist development, is a blend of luxury hotels, apartments and villas, supported by extensive commercial services and leisure facilities.
