Maybe you just want to relax and enjoy a glass of wine and a good book? About Vince Fullwood
Vince and I have been renting property in France since 2005 first with our house in Roubia and now with Argens. In November 2015 we finally moved permanently to the are and we also purchased Mellow Velos - Paraza which is a cycle rental company on the Canal 2 villages down from Argens.
Vince Fullwood purchased this Villa in 2011
Why Vince Fullwood chose Aude
Argens is a lovely working village and the house is situated at the end of the village and the bedroom balcony overlooks vine yards and hills therefore the location is super quiet. The house itself is open plan and spacious and gives you that indoor /outdoor living that helps make a holiday. Our children love coming down with the grandchildren as the house is perfect for families with open spaces for playing and a large deep pool - perfect for teenagers In the evenings we love coming together around the outside table and eating produce bought from the regional markets. As dusk falls and the stars appear you realise that there is no light pollution in the area and the stars become the entertainment.

Super house, yard and pool. Good location close to cities, Canal du Midi and old towns.highly recomm
Wonderful stay. Attentive and accommodating hosts. House full of light and space and everything provided-eg. Linens, soap, paper towel toilet paper etc. Two good restaurants in town beside Canal du Midi and a small grocery store in town. Close to small town markets and to Narbonne and Beziers, both of interest, wineries, an olive farm where they make olive oil, walled medieval towns etc etc. Highly recommended. Would stay again.
A lovely place to stay
Just back from a week in this lovely villa having spent two weeks last September. Still a great place to relax at the edge of the village. The villa is very well equipped and maintained, clean and airy.
There are two restaurants in the village, La Terrasse du Port and La Guingette and a bar Cafe Le Troubadour.
We can thoroughly recommend La Terrasse du Port on the Canal du Midi port. It’s only about 5 minutes walk from the villa. For a shorter walk there is the Troubadour bar where Gilbert will welcome you.
We had a great time and are looking forward to visiting again next year.
Lovely villa in peaceful surroundings
Lovely property on the edge of the village, but easy walking distance to small grocery shop, bar, restaurant and terrace bar/restaurant by the Canal du Midi port. The villa is comfortable and very well-equipped and in a peaceful area.
We had a great time and are looking forward to visiting again.
Great villa in a lovely location
This super villa had everything that we needed for a great stay in this lovely area. It was a great base from which to explore this part of France. We had a very warm welcome from Sandra and Vince and our every need was catered for. A most relaxing and comfortable holiday.
Fabulous Villa on Canel du Midi
This is a fabulous villa equipped to the highest standard and well located to explore the historic countryside. The villa is as described and much more. It is so comfortable, set in expansive grounds, you will be tempted to stay and enjoy the pool and jacuzzi . Argens is ideally located to visit the great weekly markets at Lezignan and Olonzac which are only a shirt drive away. The main towns such as Narbonne, Carcassone and Beziers., all of which are within a 30 minute drive. Slightly further afield is the city of Montpellier giving access the the famous Carmargue region. The fabulas western Mediterranee Beaches and resorts are located within easy driving distances.distances. A trip along the coast via Perpignan to the Spanish resort of Roses ws well worth the effort. The views are stunning. It has not been possible to find any faults with this villa and our holiday was made even more enjoyable by the kindness and friendliness of the owners - Vince and Sandra. We are returning.
Lovely house & very friendly welcome all we needed
Lovely property with everything we could need. A couple of great places to eat in the village, wine merchants and an epicerie for basic essentials. Lots of activity on the canal. Loads to go and see. Our kids went canyonning at Thermes which we highly recommend you can book before you go at Oxygen Adventure. Minerve a must visit village along of course with Carcassonne but go very early to get parked!
Thank you for such a lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again
Regards Sandra and Vince
