This lovely 1 bedroom / 1 bath unit with wonderful terrace overlooking the beach, sits directly on Marco’s South Beach, next to the Island’s most exclusive condominium complex. Some defining features include: stunning views of the Gulf from the 3rd floor, dead western exposure for unforgettable sunsets, the Sunset Grill Restaurant on the first floor, a pool, and tennis courts. Perfect for couples or families looking to do nothing but kick back, relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves from the balcony! Book your dream vacation today! The condo building charges a flat $25.00 parking fee (paid directly to them upon checking in) regardless of the length of your stay or how often you go in and out of the bldg.

According to the Realty Review: Marco Island was named as the third best island in America this year! Wow! This is HUGE! Ten Islands were listed on March 26th, 2013 and reported by Fox News. Marco was the first of the five Florida islands listed. They mentioned that Marco Island is what every vacationer hopes for…white sandy beaches, sparkling seas with the Everglades and 10,000 Islands in their backyard.

Marco was also featured by CNN Travel in April, 2013 as being one of the “10 places that can change your child’s life!” Keith Bellows, Editor in Chief of National Geographic’s Traveler Magazine, writes about Marco Island and the spectacular nature and wildlife the surround our area.

Mr. Bellows recently visited Marco Island to sign copies of his book at our own “Sunshine Booksellers” book store. Keith Bellows’ new book “100 Places That Can Change Your Child’s Life – from your backyard to the ends of the earth” specifically mentions Marco Island, and the Dolphin Explorer cruise. World renowned Bellows, states that you can introduce your child to marine biology by searching for dolphins. In his book he says “There is a kid’s way of seeing the world, parents need to get out of the way, and stop marching them through the experience (like action packed amusement parks.) When you get them to slow down and experience a place from their prospective, it’s magic.”

Our local convention and Visitors’ bureau P. R. directors said that this recognition “is incredibly significant and it’s huge in terms if recognition and prestige because it’s published by National Geographic Books, the pinnacle of travel publications.”

Marco Island is a “one of a kind” Island Paradise. Some people have called it the Hawaii of the east. I have called it “home” for the past thirty years and I am still in awe of it. And yes, I still get goose bumps when I come over the magical bridge after being away for a while. And yes, I still have epiphanies when I experience the wonders of our area. And yes, I still pinch myself when I experience those unbelievable, spectacular sunrises and sunsets or when I see the dolphins and manatees playing in our backyards. These daily occurrences that too many of us here, unfortunately, take for granted. Not me! I am very thankful for having the privilege and opportunity of living and working here for the past three decades. My famous one liner is “It’s great to be alive and on Marco Island!” I recently re-read “The Last Paradise, the building of modern Marco” by Douglas Waitley, a magnificent book that is highly recommended! It can be purchased at either Sunshine Booksellers stores, The Marco Eagle, or my main office. This book is mandatory reading for all my sales agents and a must read if you are purchasing a property here.'

Fabulous Time!

Overall, our stay at the Apollo was outstanding! This was our second time at the Apollo and we had another great experience. The accommodations were wonderful including the pool, beaches, and workout facility. Our room was comfortable, provided everything we needed and did not disappoint. We would definitely come back and stay again at the Apollo.

Exceptional view. Comfortable and safe.

We found this unit to be very comfortable, very well appointed with a spectacular view. We enjoyed the covered parking, heated pool and easy beach access. We felt very safe and secure at all times and the staff at the Apollo were so very helpful. This owner answered all of our questions promptly and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. We agree wholeheartedly with all of the other 5* reviews of this unit and we hope to return in the future.

Disappointing

I’ve stayed in many owner-rented properties. This was the most disappointing. Dirty dishes, overly worn furnishings, stopped up tub, all of which was over-priced. There are much better options on Marco Island.

UNIT NEEDS MAJOR UPDATING!

The view and location was breathtaking! The condo needs major updating ,themastate needed to be replaced ,they were quick to repair.Screen for patio fell off.Bed and furniture not comfortable.Big rollerblind on patio door bad idea if you want to sit on balcony during turtle season.Hard to go in and out in the dark.The unit was very clean.The girl at desk very rude.Loved Marco Island!

Owner's Response: Do not agree with this tenant. Our condo unit 302 have had excellent reviews from all our previous guests for many yrs. Many guests are our repeat customers every year as the like ourcondo unit and Apollo Condominium Management and our Rental Agent, Andrew. The best quality mattress is only one year old; the leather sofa is of high quality only two yrs old; roller blind on the patio door is only 9 months old. All our guests have been giving high marks for the furnishings. Why is this last guest complaining about our condo and furniture? Due to heavy rains last week, Thermostat malfunctioned at night; a new one was installed the following morning. The power on the island was disrupted for a few minutes due to heavy rain and high winds. The TV and internet services were restored by the provider, CenturyLink, when weather stabilized. All throughout this ordeal the Appollo Building Manager & our Real Estate agent, Andrew, were helpful, pleasant, courteous and responsive. This guest is NOT Welcome in future to our Condo Unit 302 & Apollo Condominium. We did not appreciate her faulty allegations!

The Place To Be on Marco

The condo needs some minor TLC but this didn't effect the great time my wife and I had. Balcony views were breath taking. Walks to market square and on the beach were something we both looked forward to each day. I loved the south end of the Island. Very peaceful down there. I would recommend condo 302 or the Apollo in general to anyone.
