Also nearby are historical sites of interest to all ages, the Sonoran Desert Museum, Wildlife Museum, Old Tucson Studios, Titan Missile Museum, Biosphere 2, Tucson Zoo, Air and Space Museum, the University of Arizona, and much more.
Communities in Oro Valley are well planned without overdevelopment. Each neighborhood is carefully placed within the natural desert environment creating a pleasant experience just walking around. Our home is less than ten minutes from the Coronado National Forest and Catalina State Park.
We find Oro Valley to be one of the best winter get-away spots. Each day December thru May is like the best of summer days back east. One can always depend on dry air and sunshine. When we sit poolside in our backyard we feel like we are at a resort. The pool is wonderful, surrounded by plenty of natural desert landscaping. We especially enjoy how quiet the neighborhood is, the wonderful people we meet, and how the sky is dark and clear at night.
