Linlithgow is an ideal position in Scotland to visit most of our main attractions, from Edinburgh Castle or Stirling Castle to the transformed modern city of Glasgow. Craigs Lodges is in a beautiful private wooded hillside setting and allows easy day trips to the wonderfully scenic areas of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.
Craigs Lodges feel as if you are comfortably relaxing in the middle of the countryside with beautiful views yet our road and rail connections allow easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling or the the magnificent mountain scenery in the Trossachs.
Spent a weekend at one of the lodges with my family. It was a fantastic experience. Lodges located in the middle of woods with beautiful scenes surrounding the site. Lodges are very well kept. To be perfectly honest, we never expected such modern and comfy facilities for what we paid. It very well worth what we paid.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Lothians.
Thanks again to Craigs Lodges.
Edinburgh city centre is only 24 minutes travel by train which runs every 20 minutes. Glasgow and Stirling city centres are only 30 minutes by train. Linlithgow train station is only 2.2 miles away.
The Helix, Scotland's newest Visitor Attraction with cycle trails, walks, play areas, canals, habitats and artworks is only 10 minutes by car.
This includes the magnificent Kelpies, the largest equine sculptures in the world.
Plus the famous Falkirk wheel is always worth a visit.
More info. The lodges are set on an 8.5 acre wooded hillside on the outskirts of Linlithgow with views over the Forth Valley and surrounding hills.
