Kick back and feel the summer breezes from the large private deck overlooking the Kennebunk River from this totally updated carriage house apartment we call the “Tree Tops”.
Tree Tops enjoys the natural light and summer breezes through 14 windows. It is located on a private road, remarkably quiet... an easy walk/bike ride to town primarily through private neighborhoods as we are just over a mile from great restaurants and fun activities in town and is just 2.2 miles from the Kennebunk beaches.
It has a queen bed, sofa bed, private bath with walk in shower, open concept sitting room and full kitchen and parking for two cars.
The apartment is equipped with A/C in the master bedroom, ceiling fans in the living and master, TWC high speed internet, flat screen television, washer/dryer and gas grill.
For those who enjoy kayaking or paddle boarding, you do have access to the water… within minutes you could be paddling through the center of Kennebunkport. Or if you prefer to simply watch the river, feel free to use the river-side patio and firepit.

Lovely stay in the woods

The property was really pretty and tucked away in a wooded neighborhood near the town. Distance for walk into town and walk to the beach were accurate. Jeff was very helpful acclimating us to the apartment and the property and everything was very clean! The beds were comfortable and the view into the trees felt like sleeping in a treehouse. The river is faster than it looks in the pictures so we didnt swim in it but did enjoy sitting beside the river. The property is treated for mosquitos but we went in between some storms and if you went walking off the property having bug spray was a must. They provided bug spray for that reason though. Great stay overall and would go back again!

Fantastic apartment, perfect location

My husband and I stayed here during a work week while our son was at camp. The space was absolutely perfect for everything we needed: it had great Internet that allowed us to work remotely; it was a mile to a mile and a half into the lively kennebunk area, which was perfect for walking to breakfast in the mornings and walking to dinner in the evenings; the space itself was large with a large bedroom, large bathroom, large family room and complete kitchen. There was plenty of room for the two of us to work in separate locations within the apartment. We had complete privacy as well as everything we needed and Jeff was always available if we had a question. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and hope to return next summer!

Perfect for small family on a quiet getaway

Great apartment in a convenient location. Close to Kennebunkport Dock Square and easy access to beaches etc. The apartment is well maintained and completely private with everything you need. River access was not as close as we expected but we visited every day to check the tides. Jeff & Patty were very responsive and gave us all the information and access we needed.

Great experience

We had a wonderful stay at Jeff and Patty’s carriage apartment in the tree tops. We took full advantage of the river access For kayaking and paddle boarding. We also brought bikes and rode along the coast a few mornings. Several beaches were within jogging distance and others within a 10-20 min drive. Our hosts were available if needed but mostly we just enjoyed getting to know them and and new points of interest in the area. The apt is as described, comfortable, clean and charming. Quiet neighborhood that is close for walking to town. We had a fantastic visit and will definitely return. Thank you for offering this wonderful property and for your hospitality.

Fabulous stay!

We were so lucky to find this place and Jeff and Patty, the hosts. The apartment is situated on a beautiful property. It had everything we needed. There is a great fire pit near the river that we used. Jeff was there to help with anything we needed.
