Modern Townhome in Historic District

This place had its ups and downs... We will start with all the ups:

Clean, Efficient, Anything you may need on your stay was accessible. From large pots and pans to the iron... I mean it was very well supplied. we liked having access to Google command, washer and dryer on second floor was a bonus. 2 bedrooms on actual second floor with a full bathroom, the 4th floor was Loft with Futon and single bed . And complaints are very few ...

DOWNS:

ALL the stairs it is a 4 stair case home from basement to Loft. We were exhausted from all the stairs tho we did avoid going on Loft area as much as we could. The Garage door opener has us very bewildered. Could not get the download on our phones, so when we would leave for the day my husband would back car out , I would stay in garage to push button to close door then run out before door could completely close.

We came from Florida with absolutely no stairs, we are 67+ years old and had a hard time with the app. Not anything you guys could do. I would just not recommend anyone in our age group to rent this. UNLESS you are computer savy and are stair people. Our Stay was comfy, it was clean, and would recomend to anyone under 55. :).

The property offered good amenities inside, comfortable beds, linens etc. It was attractively decorated. The stairs to the property were rickety with peeling paint. The deck had loose boards that need to be nailed down. The front steps were missing part of the railing which made them unsafe for one of our group that needed to hold on to both railings as she ascended the steps. The stairs from the garage had not been swept, so we entered through cobwebs and dirt. I swept the stairs and the garage floor which kept us from tracking in dirt. The switch to the ceiling fan on the 3rd floor was taped over so it was not usable. The townhome was spacious enough for our three couples, but we had to use tv trays as stands for suitcases in two of the bedrooms. We had a great time with family there, but feel at a minimum, safety issues with the front steps should be addressed. We had a bit of trouble with wifi for the garage door, but the contact was patient and helpful in resolving it. We arrived sooner than expected, and the contact helpfully changed the timing of the automatic door locks to allow us early entry. Though the historic neighborhood was a bit run down, we enjoyed walking the area and viewing the older homes.

Our stay was great, highly recommended.

Three adults and two teens were very comfortable here. Kelli was quick to respond to all of our questions. We would stay here again!

First time ever renting through vrbo. Easy access, clean house, was spacious. Would rent again.
