We are retired professionals who love the Caribbean and sailing. We have been sailing for a number of years internationally and find the Caribbean to be a fantastic place to explore! We love to show our guests a great time by fulfilling all of their wants and desires. You can check out both the sailing vessel and our villa listing testimonials to see how satisfied our guests are!
Diane purchased this boat in 2012
We wanted to add the sailing yacht property to compliment our villa site #382304. We offer daily tours for our villa guests however, we've found they love it so much they've suggested we offer it as a weekly getaway. We thought this was a great idea as well so here we are!
We customize. Ask your self where you want to go, what you want to do, who do you want to do it with and we'll set up your perfect Caribbean vacation!
My husband & I had the pleasure of sailing with Capt. Ken, Diane, & their villa manager, Ariel along the western coast of St. Lucia. It was a beautiful day and we were able to see most the Caribbean side of the island. As soon as we arrived onboard we were offered rum punch along with healthy snacks (all homemade and all delicious) and we continued to be wined and dined the entire day. We stopped along several picturesque locations and went swimming, paddle boarding, & snorkeling. Ken & Diane were very knowledgable about everything about the island and of course sailing, we really enjoyed their company along with the breathtaking scenery. Ken was very safety conscious and really felt like we were in good hands. My husband had the opportunity to use his sailing skills and that added to the overall experience as well. We would highly recommend “Lost Our Marbles” to anyone looking for a unique island experience & for some serious fun!
Thanks Ken and Diane for a fabulous sail up the west coast with both of you. Great facilities and what a great team you both are.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time onboard Lost Our Marbles with Ken and Diane. They were excellent hosts from start to finish and ensured all of our needs were met. We sailed with them from Tobago, through to Trinidad and the Tobago Keys, St. Vincent and with a final stop in St. Lucia.
Our goal was primarily to kiteboard at different locations and they were knowledgeable on all the different spots to do so and got us to them! We also anchored and moored in extremely beautiful locations and they were able to suggest land activities to see, such as waterfalls and hikes. We had lots of fun fishing (caught some beauties!) while under sail, and eating island delicacies from the locals (such as conch and lobster!). Great food onboard!
Overall, the hosts were very safe, knowledgeable, and ever the entertainers! I'll surely be doing a trip with them again.
Ken and Diane hosted us at their villa and on their catamaran at the end of April 2014. It was just the most amazing trip, the catamaran sailing experience was like no other. They let my boyfriend and I do as much or as little as we wanted. The educated us so much about sailing in the Caribbean and taught us a thing or five hundred about the cat itself. We were welcomed with rum punch, Diane and Ken cooked a fabulous meal of fish they caught just the day before- and we snorkeled and swam and dove off the front of the cat. How fun! Simply an experience not to be missed and I feel comfortable to say I have recommended to friends who may travel to the area and will definitely reach out to them if we ever find ourselves in their neck of the woods again. =)
Our family had an awesome March break week with Ken and Diane. From the moment they picked us up at the airport they were accommodating to our family of 5. Our kids range in age from 16 to 8 and they all had a great time. Ken and Diane made us feel very welcome and we were able to plan our adventures based on their expertise of the area. We did a side trip to Martinique complete with a day tour of that island. Our oldest son did his first official scuba dive and was thrilled, we all snorkled, fished and swam. The catamaran was comfortable, relaxing and best of all we could do as much or as little as we wanted. It was so nice not to have to worry about all the "details" of sailing - Ken and Diane were on top of it all. Ken's focus on safety was very much appreciated and Diane produced some awesome meals from that small kitchen! We have recommended sailing with Ken and Diane to many of our friends - it will be a vacation that won't be forgotten soon. Thanks so much for your kindness and a unique adventure!
Our family of 4 (we have two teenage boys) had the privilege of spending one night and two days with Ken and Diane on their wonderful boat. I suffer from sea sickness and was a bit unsure of this trip but didn't want to miss out. I started with sea sick tablets which spaced me out, and after a peaceful night with the best sleep Ive had in years I seemed to be cured (maybe their Rum Punch has some special healing medicine for dodgy tummies :) )
Diane and Ken will listen to your preferences for what you want out of the trip, and then deliver. The food was fresh, fabulous and forthcoming (plenty of it) as were the drinks. My boys wanted to fish and snorkel and that's exactly what they did. Ken also encouraged them to help out with sailing chores so they learnt bits about what is required to sail the vessel.
We had such a wonderful time and it was great to spend such quality and relaxing time with my lovely family, we cant thank Ken and Diane for working so hard to make this a special time for us. They are a great couple and great company. We left the boat feeling like we'd known them for years. Ken is even going to take our youngest to a local rugby training session whilst we are on the island, as this is another of his passions. Thank you both so much.
The areas we sail in the Caribbean can have whatever you want for amenities, we are extremely flexible and can provide what you would like. It's a matter of letting us know and we'll help plan the trip to include it all. We are so flexible because we can sail anywhere!
