The apartment is on Ulica Tomasza in the heart of Old Town Krakow, just a three minutes walk from the Rynek – the ancient square which is the heart of the city. Although the bustle of the rynek is just a minute or two away, Tomasza is a quiet street, even if it does boast its fair share of bars, cafes and restaurants. In the space of around 100 meters from our front door, you can find traditional Polish cooking, French gastronomy, smart sushi, and a selection of bars to satisfy a broad range of tastes. It is the ideal base to experience all of the charm, history and hospitality of Krakow.
We are told that the building dates from the 1920s, when it was built as accommodation for the management of a local bank. A feeling of the times lingers in the abundant original features which remain, and the high ceilings and elegant double doors have an air of romance from another time which creates exactly the mood to savor a stay in Krakow.
The apartment has been thoroughly refurbished during 2012. Brand new windows, securing the flat from draughts and noise, a new boiler, brand new bathroom fittings, new flooring and a renovated kitchen give a great combination of old-world charm and up-to-date comfort.
Quality, new furniture and beds ensure a top of the range experience. The apartment is in an excellently maintained building, and, although on the third floor, the rare luxury of a lift makes heavy luggage no problem at all.
The apartment has two large bedrooms with king size beds, and, by arrangement, further sleeping accommodation can be arranged for 4-6 people on smaller dounble bed in small bedroom and on sofa-beds. One sofa bed is in the lounge and another sofa bed is in one of the bedrooms. There is a bathroom with shower, sink , bidet and toilet and also a separate second toilet with sink.
The station, with fast trains to the airport, is an easy 5-10 minutes walk, making connections quick and convenient. Visitors with a taste for shopping should note that Galeria Krakowska, a large and attractive shopping mall, is just by the station.

Terrific apartment with spacious sleeping and main sitting area. Kitchen was fully equipped and the bathrooms were nice. Nice having a washing machine and a balcony for the view/sitting. We didn't need the extra bedroom but it looked comfortable. Nice having a lift for the luggage and after a long day of walking. Great location near the center of the city and we were able to walk wherever we wished. Very nice selection of restaurants and places to visit. Todd is a very gracious landlord and the price was very fair. Agatha the property manager was very nice as well and always available if needed. We've stayed at a few European apartments and this one ranks w/ the best. When we come again- we will stay here again.
The apartment and the location were absolutely perfect. Everything was exactly as described. The apartment was very comfortable and located in perfect proximity to everything we wanted to do in the old town of Kraków. The communication from Agata was professional and provided all of the details we required.

The apartment is so impressive, we stayed for a friends wedding, and loved other people popping by so we could show off our home for the week. All rooms are very large, huge beds as well with comfortable bedding. 2 bathrooms, all mod cons in the kitchen and lovely balcony. Communication from owners was spot on as well, prefect stay really.
Just wanted to say thank you for the use of your lovely apartment. We all had a great time in Krakow and the apartment couldn't have been better, it had everything we needed and very comfy beds, which we certainly needed after all the walking we did. Location was excellent and we made good use of the milkbar downstairs for excellent breakfasts. We hope to go back next year, so I'll be in touch to book again, thanks for everything.
great place and location to get to all the sights in London and easy ability for groceries and resturants and bars as well as the nearby market.
The pictures do not do this beautiful apartment justice. The bedrooms are very spacious, the lounge/living room area is perfect and the kitchen has pretty much everything you would need for your stay. We would suggest an American coffee machine rather than the French press for future guests. Tiziana was great to work with as she was always timely with all my concerns and extremely helpful, going as far as sending me a download of restaurants and sites as well as where to park. There is a parking lot across from the Theatre that is free on Saturday and Sunday and from 8pm until 10am through the week. You will have to feed the meter for the day and place the ticket in the front window of your car. This was the least expensive compared to the 50 to 70 z's we found elsewhere.
I highly recommend this apartment for anyone considering staying in the Old Town of Krakow. For a good meal but slow service, Dog in the Fog restaurant is very convenient, just down the street from the apartment.
WIFI is excellent but the TV was not working for our stay.
