This authentic historic 1858 ranch property offers an artistic local cabin with the Pinos Creek in the backyard and extraordinary views of Indian Head Mountain and the Rio Grande. Experience local wildlife and privacy on 10 acres, west of Del Norte.
The cabin is located on one of the first Hispanic settlements in the San Luis Valley next to the adobe hacienda built by Luis Montoya in 1858. There are 20 willow trees which he planted still thriving on the property. A long barn divides the cabin from the two other houses, the hacienda and the Hobbit House. The name 'Antique Farm' refers to the time when antiques were once sold here. We hope to add some of the antique charm to the cabin and surroundings. There is a full-size bed in the downstairs room, a fold-out couch in the living room, a king bed and two twins in the upstairs loft, as well as a gas fireplace, and a kitchen with basic appliances.
