This gorgeous new condo had everything necessary for a relaxing stay in a 'home away from home'! Beautifully appointed with beautiful decor and fully stocked kitchen. Gorgeous grounds. Close to the pool and best areas of lake las vegas. Amazing hosts and management staff made booking and my stay a total breeze! I highly recommend this beautiful and peaceful place for people who want the best. And plus the Owner Ms. jenn very nice person she knows me and family is on a litle sadness part of my life SHE actually gave us a ONE night of free stay on the place... thank you so much Ms. jenn

Awesome condo on beautiful Lake Las Vegas

The condo was totally stocked, completely clean and well maintained and very spacious and comfortable. Gorgeous view out on the deck! Owners were really great to work with. The pools were beautiful, plenty of seating, and the village was fun! Close to lots of things to do and places to eat. We loved our stay and would recommend this to anyone!

The rental unit itself was quite nice and well appointed. It was clean and spacious with a lovely view of part of the lake. There were a few things, however, that cause me to rate it down. First, the pool and hot tub were out of commission during the period we were there. We were not notified of this at the time of renting or at any time prior to our arrival. Since my husband and I spend the majority of our time hiking in the desert, having a jetted hot tub to relax in in the evenings is a huge priority. Additionally, it should be noted that the Lake Mead area is undergoing a major growth and construction spurt and as such there are large work trucks passing by this rental unit, which is very close to a main road, every morning, starting at 7 am. Additionally, the grounds keepers for the complex start with their leaf blowers and other equipment, bright and early too. There was no sleeping past 7 am for us, even on Easter Sunday. Another issue others may want to be aware of: this complex allows dogs and we all know what comes with that! Additionally, the people in the unit directly below this rental, are smokers. Needless to say, when we were trying to enjoy breakfast on the patio, if they were outside, the cigarette smoke wafted up and I would have to go inside and close the sliding glass door.

I thought it was important for other potential renters to have the full, accurate picture of this place. If your priority is to have a clean, nice apartment this may be the place for you. If you are looking for quiet and the ability to sleep in and possibly relax in a jetted hot tub, this might not be the place for you.

Property = 5: Clean, well appointed, overlooking the Lake, fully equipped, comfortable, and spacious.

Overall = 3 for the following reasons: 1) Check-in = The Lock Box Code was not provided to us until we had jumped thru many hoops (drove to another location (office), read a sign on a desk that instructed us to text for Lock Box Code, texted one person & owner; received Lock Box Code, drove to Property). Why not simply provide the Lock Box Code to your customers by text on the scheduled day/time of arrival? 2) Parking = We discovered & two night security personnel confirmed, that on-site property parking is not available after 8 PM & that all property owners are feuding due to parking problem; we were instructed by security to park in a "tow zone" instead of the casino, because of poorly lit paths, desolate spaces, animals, and potential crime at night during the 5 - 8 minute walk from the casino to the property. Provide this info to potential customers. 3) Owner Contact During Our Stay = On our 2nd day, the Owner texted that her housekeeper had a "very busy" schedule; and asked what time we would vacate the next day. Owners should not interrupt customer's quiet enjoyment of property, and should never imply that customers are inconveniencing the housekeeping (or any) staff. 4) Day of Check-out = Checkout is 11 AM - - From 9:55 AM to 10:42 AM, the housekeeper knocked intermittently on the door. At 10:42 AM she yelled thru the door, "When can I get in, I am busy", or words to that effect. We vacated at 10:50 AM. Solution: Why continue to interrupt/harass your customers regarding check-out?

Conclusion: This is a fabulous rental for anyone that is planning to use Uber/Lift/cabs. Parking is problematic, and the Owner's contact combined with her housekeeper's conduct all interrupted our enjoyment of the property. For HomeAway Rentals to go smoothly, the Owner and Renter must each honor the written agreement & have a level of trust. We honored our agreement and trusted the Owner to do the same. We feel the owner was not straightforward regarding the problematic parking, and exuded an extreme lack of trust with the convoluted check-in, interrupting us during our stay to inquire about our departure, and thru her housekeeper's behavior. Our experience is unique to us - the Owner or other renters may have a different view.

Owner's Response: Hello George, I apologize for responding so late to your comments. I would like to respond to them though. 1) lock box code: is not given out until after 5 p.m. because it is not my lock box and there is nowhere for me to leave my own. They are provided by the HOA. The gals that manage the front desk do not put the room key in the boxes until after 5 p.m. arrivals because there are only 5 boxes per building. 2) Parking: all of the above ground parking is available to park anywhere you would like. Which there is normally plenty of spaces. Only parking not available for nonresidents without a parking tag is the underground. There are not enough spaces for each unit to have a parking space down there. I have no idea why they directed you to park in the casino parking. I will address that with the front desk and HOA. 3) and 4) Due to the New Years week my housekeeper was very busy. I was in no way asking when you would be vacating to encourage you to leave early. I had no idea my house keeper was bothering you before the check-out time. I have never asked her to do that to you or another guests, nor have I had prior guests tell me she has done that. I will definitely address that with her. Again, I do apologize and wish to make it up to you. I will privately contact you to make arrangements. Kind regards!

Beautiful Condo with Attentive Owners!

My husband and I attended our niece's wedding this past weekend. Having lived in Las Vegas years ago, we knew we did not want to stay anywhere near the strip. The condo was exactly what we were looking for. The master bed was so comfy that I had to force myself to get out of it in the morning. We had not planned this, but we had a perfect view of the firework display over the lake from our balcony.

Also, I noted increased security measures were implemented, which made me feel pretty good.

Jen the owner was very responsive and was great to work with.

Also, all the neighbors were very friendly, we made a few friends during our stay. We recommend this property if you want to feel pampered.

Perfect

We only spent one night here, but it was absolutely perfect! Jen is so easy to work with and her condo is great. Really clean, and good amenities. We loved Lake Las Vegas. We were in Vegas for a holiday party, and didn't really want to be in the gambling scene. We found the perfect spot! A beautiful oasis in the heart of the desert!
