About Terry Wilks

I moved to Gardiner in 2004 to manage the westernaire motel, my husband being retired wanted to live in Gardiner so as time moved on we decided to invest in the community and found this unique property.

Terry Wilks purchased this house in 2012

Why Terry Wilks chose Gardiner

Because this property is so close to my work and has a lot of potential, with my husbands eye for upgrading it has been an adventure and will continue to be. The area is so beautiful with the rocky mountains and Yellowstone park, the wildlife wondering around and coming to visit, there is always something new and exciting to see. A great place to live or play.

What makes this house unique

this cabin is so cute a perfect place to call home even for just a short time. Large windows, cute fenced yard, all the comforts of home in a rustic package.

Cozy is, exactly what this place is!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This Cabin is perfect for 1 or 2 people. I had everything I needed. Wifi worked perfectly, outdoor grill is great, very clean inside and out. Just a short walk to the local market for anything you want and about 1.5 miles to the park entrance.... You can view Elk, Mule Deer and what ever else might wander through the yard....

Very easy to stay communicated with the property owners if you need anything...

Warm and Cozy

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was roomy, clean and in a great location. When the temperature dropped and we had to use the heater, we found the cabin held in the heat. Terry was quick to answer all our questions in a speedy manner. We would recommend this place to family and friends traveling through Gardiner, MT.

Get Spoiled with a Touch of Home While Exploring Yellowstone with the Grandkids!

  • 5 of 5

Terry had everything we needed and more, plus nice little touches of home! We brought our three grandchildren for a visit to Yellowstone and it was great being just minutes from the Roosevelt Arch entrance. Every day we saw elk grazing in the yard next door or walking down the sidewalk.

Kitchen has all you'll need to make your meals along with ice-packs in the freezer and if needed, a lunch cooler waiting to carry sandwiches to the park. (Plus plenty of ice cube trays to fill your water bottles.) If you need anything it's a quick walk to the local market just down the block.

We used all the sleeping areas as we had our three grandchildren with us. (It's always a gamble with sofa sleepers and roll-away beds... glad Terry had the foam topper for the roll-away bed as our teenage grandson said it made it more comfortable.)

Loved having the convenience of a washer and dryer right in the cabin! Terry even had a small fan available.

This was our first VRBO stay and if this is any indication of what to expect from the program, we'll definitely use them again. Thank you, Terry, for making our stay enjoyable. You thought of everything and it's obvious how much you care about your property by all your wonderful little touches! In a handful of years we plan to come back with our other three grandchildren so will definitely look Terry up again.

Loving our time with the grandkids!

Greetings from Wisconsin

Cute cabin, plenty of space and lots of extras peovided. Terry was so helpful, would stay again!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was more spacious than it appeared from the pictures; our family of five was very comfortable. Terry thought of pretty much everything we could possibly need, even loaned us bear spray for Yellowstone so that we wouldn't have to buy it. It was a 2 minute drive to the Yellowstone gate. Grocery store was about 3 buildings down.. Super easy to walk to and back. The kids enjoyed the dvd collection in the evenings. Kitchen was fantastically well stocked. Every morning we sat with our coffee out on the porch swing and watched the elk walk by! This was our first VRBO stay and Terry set the bar high for any future stays. Our expectations were far exceeded. If we ever return to the area, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
