A rural location: This part of Cornwall offers the opportunity to get away from the crowds and traffic. It is a rural community and you are as likely to meet a tractor on the lanes as another car. There are no high rise flats and hotels in this area and the many footpaths offer the chance to truly find peace and tranquility. From Menifters you can walk to Porthallow Cove in 25 minutes from where you can join the coastal path, Porthallow is the mid point of the South West Coastal path.
Please see our web site for more information and special offers www.menifterscottages.co.uk
Helford: We are 4 miles from Helford village, a small and beautiful Hamlet situated on the Helford River. The navigable river goes inland as far as Gweek and his stretch is characterised with steeply wooded hills and Creeks, most of which can be explored on foot and many by car.
From Helford you can take the Passenger Ferry Boat across the river to Helford Passage. A two mile walk from here will take you to the delightful and exotic gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan.

The property is located in a rural area and was exactly as described.
Dairy Cottage had excellent facilities and coming home to a comfy lounge, large screen tv and wifi was welcome.
Very comfortable bed.
The location suited for our exploration of Cornwall.
Highly recommended as a comfortable quiet base. Although we had quite inclement weather, we still enjoyed the views from the back over the fields and bay. In sunny fine weather it would be beautiful to relax outside at the table and chairs provided and take
In The views.
Friendly owners, thanks for a great stay.
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely location. The property was spotlessly clean and fully equipped. Wendy and Ray were really nice. Highly recommended and hopefully we will return.
White Hart Hotel in St Kevern is recommended.
Staying at Dairy cottage made an excellent holiday for us. Its ideal for two, roomy enough, warm and comfortable. I had some doubts at staying somewhere with 3 other neighbouring holiday properties, as I was wanting somewhere very peaceful. However, I was very relieved as the cottages provide peace in abundance. The owners are very courteous and never intrude, and we never heard any noise from the other three cottages. There's a very good amount of outside garden available to use should you wish. The views and air are delightful, and traffic is about one car truddling by every five minutes. For us it was an excellent base to walk loads, get away from it all and particularly reccommended if you like exploring the local coastline and villages. Many thanks.
We both really enjoyed our stay at Dairy Cottage. The place was clean, kitchen well equipped and spacious enough for the two of us. Although it was a little musty when we arrived, a bit of airing did it the world of good and it is a very old stone building which was explained in the welcome pack. It was very quiet, had a lovely view of Falmouth Bay from the back of the cottage. There was a pub 20 mins walk from the cottage that served lovely meals although the walk back was mostly uphill! We had a very relaxing time and we would definitely return again.
My partner and I stayed in Dairy Cottage over August Bank Holiday weekend. It was great - really well equipped, beautful views and very accessible.
It was an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area - the South West coast path is very nearby and there are also some absolutely stunning beaches a short drive away.
The owners are very friendly and do all they can to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
I would thoroughly recommend it.

Pendennis Castle: from Henry VIII fortress to the secret World War II base..

Have a go at diving with a 'Try Dive' under expert guidance. It has one of the best shore dives and offers RIB and hard boat charters to local reefs and wrecks.
Flambards Village Theme Park: fun for the children whatever the weather.
Poldark Mine: experience the thrill of an underground tour in a genuine Cornish Tin Mine.
