Roomy, convenient and reasonable cost place, execution poor
Arrived 1 AM and room not cleaned or serviced from previous guests, did get sheets. Neighbor overhead noise significant, room generally smelled of natural gas, entrance through utility basement. Had two toilet clogs. Landlord responsive but not considerate of sleep times. Unit decent but not well-maintained. Two drinking glasses, one chipped, one coffee cup. Missing hair dryer. Only heat was gas stove burners. A/C requires putting exhaust tube out open window.
Crash pad for work.
Beds were nice. Basic TV channels. Living room furnitue needs upgrade.
Water pressure was good , hot water on building boiler. Quiet not busy street.
People in unit above have child. Must feed him or her sugar and soda for dinner.
From 7PM to 9PM running, jumping, pounding, yelling. Just had to laugh. Quieted down about 9PM. Worst part was parking.
There is none..
Park at the Square Ramp or leave your car at home.
If I was doing mass transit only I would stay here again
It was clean and comfortable. No insects. Location was great but parking was tricky. We ended up parking in the deck a block away. It is a basement apartment so you will hear movement upstairs. I would stay here again.
Easy commute to New York City
The apartment was clean and as described. We like staying there, it could use a few updates nothing major. Beds were comfortable.
Great price, inaccurate photos and area of living
The good: plenty of space for 4 big people, price was great for the area, lots of food nearby, beautiful women everywhere lol, good utensils and bathroom products,
The bad: photos did not match the entrance of the home, off to the side in the basement. 2 inch roach's dead outside the complex and home area but not inside. Damaged interior doors that squeel upon moving. Damaged windows and blinds that did not lock at all (lucky enough nothing happened). Nice layer of dust and grim on all vertical surfaces, no maid. Bed sheets were questionable. Nothing to clean the floor with like a broom/vacuum or a mop.
Overall: Again the price is great for the stay and area. I wasn't expecting it to match the photo exactly but it was overwhelming different. Especially the lighting, as I turned them all on and still felt gloomy. I wasn't in the home alot but in the time I did especially after 3 days I wish there was something to help the traffic of 4 people in and out. Noticably on the rugs.
To close the owner needs to visit the home more often and make some repairs / deep cleaning.
Easy location, beware of bugs
Easy access to train station to get to the city. There were two dead cockroaches as soon as walked in and then under the couch when we pulled out the bed. A paper Starbucks bag was in the window by the AC unit. Being that it was 5 girls in an area we weren't familiar with, we didn't find this safe. We toon pics and called and he said he would bring someone into fix everything and clean up and give us a refund for that night. Deal. Next day when we get back, the cockroach is still under the bed and now a PLASTIC bag was in the window. It was 11 at night and we had no where to go, but we weren't happy. He told me he would refund the stay, but "it's economy and I can't compare it to the Ritz." Lol, okay. I just didn't want to sleep with cockroaches and if it's a rental, you need to make the windows safe. I never heard from him again regarding any money back and the manager never returned my voicemail. Easy location to city but I don't recommend.
