This property is centrally located and accessible to all parts of the island within minutes. The house is older design with original red wood walls in the living room and original wooden floors. Located off of Likelike Highway, this home is 15 minutes away from the windward side of the island via the Wilson Tunnel. It is also 15 minutes away from downtown Honolulu, where Chinatown, major government buildings, and historical sites are located. Going west on Likelike Highway it is approximately 15-20 minutes away from restaurants and shopping centers.
This house sits on a slight hill with a 2-car garage. There are 12-15 stairs to the front door but it a single story house. The house was built in the 1950's and we have retained most of the natural stained wood walls instead of painting over it. The wood floors are the original natural wood floors. The only room covered with carpeting is the long living room. The living room has a queen-sized sofa bed. There is a small TV with access to standard cable channels. The roomy kitchen is equipped with most small appliances to make you feel right at home. The adjoining dining room seats 4 comfortably. The master bedroom is located down the hall to the left with a queen-sized bed and a adjoining 1/4 bathroom for convenience. The middle bedroom is locked for the owner's use only. The bedroom closest to the bathroom and kitchen has a small desk with a double bed and a pull out single trundle bed. The full bathroom has a walk-in shower with towels in the closet for use.
The back door has access to the garage via a very steep stairway. Extreme caution must be taken using the stairs. A metal railing and non-skid tape has been installed for safety. The back door has access to the backyard, which has a lemon tree that produces fruit yearly. The garage has a locked storage which houses the washing machine and dryer.
