About this property

The nitty gritty: rental is in one week increments with a one week minimum stay with Saturday turnover. Towels and linens are not provided (linen rentals are available for people flying in). No smoking and pets are not allowed. For your convenience, my calendar is always up to date.

This two story home is a perfect family get away. The views of Island Pond from the home and oversized wrap around deck are dramatic. The house boasts 4 bedrooms, a loft with a twin sized pull out bed couch, and another full sized pull out bed couch in the lower level family room. The stairs to the pond, great for swimming, reveal a private sand beach. There are no kayaks at the house, but a place that rents them is nearby.

The home, on almost an acre of land, is on a dead end dirt road with only one other home on the street. Seclusion, yet so close to many activities. Plymouth center is only 20 minutes away. The Sagamore Bridge is only a 5 minute drive.

A nice retreat

Had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful and it was so relaxing sitting on the deck over looking the pond. And any questions we had the owner got back to us right away. Definitely would come back!

Another great week at Vumore

This is the 2nd time my family of 10 have been fortunate enough to stay at this lovely Waterfront home. It was just as enjoyable if not more so than the 1st time. The weather was perfect for enjoying the pond and relaxing on the spacious deck. We did do a few day trips but we were all so happy to be able to get back to Vumore where we could enjoy a swim or just cool down on the deck. The cardinals are always a delight to hear and catch a glimpse of but the sounds of our grandchildren enjoying the pond was even better. We look forward to our next stay at Vumore.

Beautiful home with perfect layout. Peaceful, remote location. Clean pond perfect for fishing, kayaking and paddling boarding. Home owner delightful to work with. Our family loved it!
