Salcombe is Devon's most southerly town. Sheltered inside the Kings bridge Estuary, Salcombe retains its peace and quiet by favouring the pedestrian over the motorist this has attracted exclusive shopping and good restaurants to the area. Wonderful safe boating and beautiful beaches some of which can be accessed by a charming ferry from the centre of town. Other beaches have car parks making it great for small children. The coastal walks are spectacular. A wonderful holiday destination even in bad weather.
