Welcome to Paradise! This 2 bedroom townhouse is the perfect getaway for one or two couples or a small family. It is located just three blocks from Duval St. and is conveniently located in the heart of Old Town Key West. The wonderful thing about this place is that it is in a quiet neighborhood where you can relax on one of three porches, but then when you're ready, you can access all of the sights in Key West with a short walk or bike ride.
The master bedroom features a king-size bed, while the other guest bedroom has a queen-size bed. The kitchen and bathroom have been completely renovated and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a front porch that's great for people watching, an upper deck off the master bedroom to enjoy your coffee in the morning and a wonderful rear patio area where you can enjoy a few drinks or dinner.
Key West is a special place and this townhouse will ensure that you have a memorable stay while you're here on the island.
My wife and I live in Key West full-time now. This was the first place we purchased on the island back in 2005. We still love it and can't bring ourselves to sell it. In fact, we stay here every now and then just because of the great memories we created here.

You just can't find a place that is so conveniently located. You are a 2-3 minute walk to Duval St., a 5 minute walk to Mallory Square or a 10 minute walk to Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park and its beautiful beach.
This was our third trip to Key West and our third time staying at Truman's Annex. We absolutely love the location of the Annex - so close to everything, yet tucked away in a quiet area. This year we rented Green Bamboo and were so pleased with our choice! The home is beautiful and so well appointed! Everything I needed was in the kitchen, and the pots, dishes, etc. were in excellent shape. The open layout of the first floor allows plenty of space for everyone to be together, sitting in the living area, eating at the kitchen table, or preparing food in the kitchen. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved the porch off of the master bedroom. I also appreciated the washer/drier in the upstairs hallway which made doing laundry so easy.
We also spent a lot of time on the first floor porches, either in the back relaxing after spending a day at the beach (which is partially covered and the ceiling fans help to keep you cool), or on the front porch people watching and interacting with the roosters, hen and chicks.
Check-in and out was easy, as was the communication with both the owner and Compass Realty as the rental was processed. Will definitely book this house again!
the booking process was professionally handled on a genuine level with bill. the coordination with check-in and out with michelle from compass realty was also first-rate. this was our 1st trip to the keys and my wife and 16 yr old daughter echoed my appraisal that staying in the truman annex area was the best. we rented a car from miami airport to dropoff at key west airport and did the same on the way out. we did not require a car nor bicycles during the middle 8 days of our 10 day stay as most of key west happens in a 7 block radius of the annex. we did buy a transit pass for a week($21 in total for the 3 of us) for smathers and key west dolphin tour from stock island. we did not use the communal pool as it was too small and only had about 8 chairs so i would not consider that to be a selling feature. you are 3 blocks off duval (@the 600 block)which was perfect as everything happens btwn the 100 and 300 block and at mallory. we were considering staying at the south end of duval or 1800 atlantic and were glad we chose the annex or we would have required transportation multiple times per day. the house had everything you needed, the back patio was a nice area to chill (maybe a 2nd lounger could be added). the whole experience was rich. our best vrbo to date
This townhouse is everything we could have wished for and more. We had no suggestions for improvements! The location is great - close to Duval St., Mallory Square and the beach - yet the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Friendly neighbors too! We would recommend this property to anyone looking for R&R in Key West.
Key West is a unique place to visit. This 2 mile by 4 mile island has one of the most popular streets in the United States....Duval St. There is a wide spectrum of activities from one end of the street to the other. You can party, shop, eat, enjoy artwork and just people watch. In addition, the Florida Keys have one of the largest and healthiest barrier reefs in the world. The water surrounding the Florida Keys and Key West have plenty of sport fish and other underwater treasures to explore. In addition, there is a great deal of history throughout Old Town Key West. From Ernest Hemingway's home to Harry Truman's Little White House, there are many places to explore.

The terms of payment are 50% down at the time of booking and the remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to your arrival. We prefer checks as a form of payment, but do accept VISA and MasterCard. Your down payment is fully refundable up to 60 days prior to your arrival (less any credit card fees we've incurred). At the 60 day mark, you are committed to your rental.
