The property has 3 available bedrooms accommodating up to 6 guests - one large double, one with twin beds & one with bunk beds ideal for children, the property as 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets, on the ground floor there is a large air-conditioned L-shaped lounge equipped with comfortable seating area, television, DVD player & stereo, there is a separate dining section with oak dining table, seating for 8 people. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with microwave oven, slow cooker, electric hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and dishwasher etc.
The lounge opens onto the covered terrace & gardens fully equipped with outside dining area for 8, also the private garden is equipped with sun beds & sun umbrella for the use of residents within the garden.
The Area: Excellent 'Bastide' provençal-style cottage on a small exclusive domain of privately owned properties situated in the foothills of the village of Montaroux. Ideally situated between the mountains and the sea Montauroux is one of several similarly attractive medieval hill top villages within close proximity and only 30 minutes away from many of the most famous resorts and beaches of the Cote D'zur.
As well as local shops, cafés and restaurants within the village, there are lots of others in the area, and in the neighbouring villages of Fayence, Seillan and Callian. most of the local villages have wonderful weekly provençal markets for shopping as well. An unusual facility nearby is the St Cassien lake – only 2km from the property - which has sandy bays for sunbathing and swimming, as well as lots of water activities which can be hired including canoes, pedalloes and sailing boats.
Location: The property is situated only 28Km/18miles (25 minutes drive) from Saint Raphael/Fréjus or the beaches, Cannes for shopping, entertainment & pleasure is 33km/21miles (30 minutes drive), also close by 8km/5miles and a short drive is the famous Four Seasons 6 star international golfing & spa complex. The property can be easily accessed via Nice International airport 59km/37miles (40 minutes), or the other airports at Toulon and Marseille.
The Property: There are just 40 properties on the domain which has a reception office - which is open between 10.00am - 12.30pm and 2.30pm - 7pm daily, an indoor residents' lounge, a beautiful swimming pool with poolside showers/toilets, a laundry room and a cycle store.

The house we stayed in was lovely.
Clean & well stocked with everything you would need for holiday including kids toys for home & beach.
There was however rather a lot of dog poo around the resort, no fault of the house owner.
Al in all we had a fantastic holiday & would certainly visit again!
The house did more or less correspond to the description. However we were surprised by the unfavorable room layout. The upper story is divided into 4 tiny rooms (tiny meaning, you need to press yourself to the wall or kneel on a bed in order to reach the window). One of the rooms was closed (use of the owners only) and one (with the bunk bed) so small you could hardly open the window. Had we needed all 6 beds, we would not have known where to store the suitcases.
The second bathroom is on the first floor, with a very small shower. There is no place for storage of even the cleaning equipment, therefore the vacuum cleaner had to be left in full sight in the living room, right next to the table.
Cleaning was the biggest issue. We spent the first day with a basic scrubbing of all the rooms, especially the kitchen, until we felt comfortable. This included removing leftovers from inside the dishwasher, and then passing all the tableware and cutlery through it.
Two of the burners never reached their full temperature, neither did the oven.
It would be a good idea to have a professional cleaner come in between occupancies, like for the other houses of the complex which are managed by an agency.
We tried to have someone come in and clean, but the Lagrange caretaker could not organize it, their cleaning person being in charge of their property only. They were very friendly, but their main problem-solving method consisted apparently of calling someone else who then took care of the issue or not.
Linen is not included in the rental, but upon asking it was provided by courtesy of the owners.
There was plenty of terrace furniture and the sunbeds were more comfortable than in other houses.
We did not use the Boule place or pool, both in full sun without any sunshade. The state of the pool was not as good as on the pictures.
But the nearby lake (5 min by car to the beach of the American) was much better anyway.
Comments about many dogs in the complex are true, they happen to visit the garden as well.
Air conditioning is available on the first floor. The second floor has fans.
We had a problem with moskitoes and bought moskito nets for the windows.
The Ikea beds and mattresses were reasonably comfortable.
No problem at all on the organization and communication side.
Golf: There are a number of courses close by, the Four Season Golf Resort with two championship courses and excellent practice facilities is 8km/5miles from the property.
