"Bear" was a perfect stop for us on our way home from Yellowstone. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the owners were very easy to communicate with. The views were amazing too! Would stay here again.
A little over priced, but you're paying for location to Yellowstone.
This cabin is located less than 25 miles from Yellowstone. The drive into the park is easy and beautiful. As far as the cabin goes, I'm guessing the reason for the over growth around the front porch is an attempt to drown out the highway noise. Unable to sit on porch in the evening but just as well.
Some of the ad photos in ad were of another cabin. If you want it cool, open a window, AC is poor at best. Mice got into food, so had to throw some of that out. The view of the ranch across the road is very beautiful. Bed was very uncomfortable. Didn't hear from owners during our two night stay.
Perfect place for what I needed!
A comfy, clean place with all the basic amenities. The location is close to the East Entrance of Yellowstone and not far from Cody. Beautiful views and a super nice host. My only issue was the wifi which was unreliable, only working on my laptop and not all the time. Other than that, I very much enjoyed my stay!
Wyoming gave us a perfect week for our visit.
Our stay in Cody
It was a lovely stay a little disappointed that it was on the highway I wish we could’ve been back in the mountains a little more but overall it was nice the best part was when we went to dinner Brad cooked us a wonderful ribeye steak probably the best ribeye steak I’ve ever eaten Erin was our waitress did a great job letting us share the huge ribeye steak I will end this by saying that Brad and Erin are very delightful people Bob & Carolyn Dickson
Rustic but cozy with breathtaking views
We had a great stay at the cabin. It is not meant to be a five star hotel but it is charming in a country setting. The views outside the cabin are beautiful. If you’re lucky enough to be there when their restaurant next door is open be sure to have dinner (sit back and enjoy a cold drink & just be patient). We had great steaks that were barbecued to perfection ...delicious, trust me they were worth the wait.

Pet Fee - The pet fee is $35 for one pet per stay. With pets I ask that they not be allowed on the furniture or bedding. It is extremely difficult to get the pet hair off. Also that they not be left in the cabin unattended unless they are in a crate. Unfortunately I have guests that disregard this. If that happens the pet fee is doubled. Thanks for your understanding!
