Beautiful Property and View
Enjoyed our short stay, wished we had gotten in earlier so we could have enjoyed it longer. I little tricky to find because GPS wasn't/doesn't work in this area and it was well past dark but directions given by property owner were good. Perfect for a family stay near Yellowstone. Not much for eating options in the area, at least for breakfast, so plan on using the well outfitted kitchen.
Mountain View Resort in Wapiti, WY
Our stay at the Mountain View Resort was amazing. The cabin is right on the road, however the fire pit is in the back of the house and we were able to enjoy it without really being bothered by the passing cars. The cabin is also equipped with every thing you would need to enjoy your stay. The location was perfect for us as we spent two days in Yellowstone and also spent some time in Cody. Erin was always quick with answering any questions I had about surrounding activities too things about the cabin. The cabin was very clean as was the surrounding property. Highly recommend this for any family wanting to spend time in both Cody and Yellowstone park. Thank you again Brad and Erin!
Felt like home!
We enjoyed our stay and Brad and Erin’s rental! We liked the outdoor area that accompanied the unit and Brad and Erin were amazing to meet our needs! Brad serves an amazing meal at his restaurant!! It’s a must try! The drive into to Cody is beautiful and we enjoyed the Shashone Forest access just across the road! Highly recommend!
Great location close to Cody and Yellowstone.
Two families shared the upper and lower cabins. Cozy with plenty of room. Kitchen a plus. 20 min to Yellowstone entrance. We had a great stay and drove the short distance to Cody for the rodeo.
Beautiful cabin and location!!
The property was perfect for our two family group, we had booked main lodge and the lower cabin. The views were beautiful and we had plenty of room. It was close to the entrance of Yellowstone and the Cody city.
Brad and Erin are wonderful hosts. We even got a spectacular view of July 4th fireworks right from our cabin, it was quite a surprise. Loved our stay at this property!

Additional pricing information
Main lodge $169-$229/night upstairs and downstairs suites $129-$179 each entire lodge(all 3 units) $409-$577/night sleeps 14-21 Cancellation Policy Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to your cabin reservation will result in the refund of your deposit less $25 per day per unit for each day reserved. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to your cabin reservation will result in the forfeiture Pet Fee - The pet fee is $35 for one pet per stay. With pets I ask that they not be allowed on the furniture or bedding. It is extremely difficult to get the pet hair off. Also that they not be left in the cabin unattended unless they are in a crate. Unfortunately I have guests that disregard this. If that happens the pet fee is doubled. Thanks for your understanding!
