The Old Vicarage is a quiet, charming, and spacious home which perfectly balances the beautiful English countryside with one of the most dynamic and liveable cities in the world- London. The Old Vicarage is a lovely 3 story 5 bedroom (3300 sf) brick Victorian home in the a lovely quiet residential neighborhood of Worcester Park. Worcester Park is close to Wimbledon and has easy rail access to central London (25 minutes) from the nearby rail station (which runs every 15 minutes most times). This takes you directly to Waterloo, the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster, nearby Leicester Square, Covent Garden and from there the rest of London. Wimbledon and central London are close, but you also wouldn't want to miss the charm and beauty in other directions. Richmond Park and the waterfront of Kingston are near by, as is the beautiful countryside of Surrey. Enjoy fantastic pubs in Surrey in addition to Michelin star restaurants of London. One of our favorite villages of Surrey is Shere where much of the movie 'The Holiday' is set.

The Old Vicarage maintains it's original charm but has been fully modernized with updated kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room. It includes 5 good size bedrooms (two on the 1st floor and 3 on the 2nd floor), a kitchen and adjacent family room, formal dining roo, a study, and laundry / pantry room all on the main floor, and a formal living room complete with baby grand piano on the first floor. The backyard includes a lovely patio which becomes the largest room on sunny days, complete with barbeque and patio heaters. The front drive way accommodates 4 cars behind a private gate. The home is one of the early grand homes of Worcester Park and remains an important local landmark. The kitchen includes modern appliances, including conduction stove, and oven as well as a traditional aga. The adjoining family room includes a grand wood burning fireplace which always creates the perfect fire. The formal dining room and formal living room also include a wood burning fireplace. The formal living room includes a baby grand piano. The Old Vicarage is the perfect blend of traditional and modern; country and city. It's a special, lovely home.
