About Nick & Masae
We live in Fort Worth, Texas with 2 young children. Growing up we both went camping with the families. Although we grew up in 2 different countries, we knew when we met that exploration in nature will be a big part of our life together. We started with a tent and camping gears as a young couple. Then we had our daughter, and decided to buy a small used pop-up camper from a friend of ours. As the family grew, we sold the camper and purchased a larger camping trailer, which we used for local camping trips. We have been to many places together, but we always talk about the beautiful nature we saw when we traveled to Arkansas right after we got married. We purchased this cabin for us as well as others like you to provide opportunities to engage with nature, and have a wonderful time with your friends and family making great memories with them. We hope you enjoy, Nick & Masae

Why Nick & Masae chose Mount Ida
The cabin is located conveniently to enjoy both nature activities and the city of Hot Springs. It's only 5 to 10 minutes to the closest marina on Lake Ouachita, and there are several trails for hiking, mountain biking. or crystal hunting. The drive to Hot Springs is about 20 to 30 minutes depending on which part of the city you are visiting. They have a horse race track with a casino attached to is, the famous Bath House Row, or some other attractions such as water park, go cart, putt putt golf and shopping/restaurant areas.
What makes this Cabin unique
We love the cabin because of the quietness. The fire pit area is open which allows children to run around and enjoy the nature while adults sit by the fire. The back deck is quite nice for morning coffee while you listen to the trees sway or birds tweet.

The property was private, well equipped, and clean
I have to say out of all the places we've stayed in hot springs, this has been my favorite. Mrs Masae gave a very very detailed message of how to find the cabin. Upon arrival, it was clean and I've never stayed in a place that felt like you were just at home away from home. My wife and I took our vacation with our 7 kids and we often times have a hard time finding reasonably priced rentals for our large family. Although we filled every bed in the place, there was plenty of room to wander and my kids enjoyed the trails around the property. There were plenty of dishes, towels for the bathrooms, sheets and blankets for all the beds, and just about anything you could possibly need for roughly a weeks trip. Thank y'all so much for your hospitality and allowing us to use your home for our vacation.
The Wood Family
Thank you so much for allowing us to host! It is great to hear you enjoyed your stay. Look forward to having you back!
Out but not hard to access
Perfect for what we needed
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The beds are comfortable and the cabin was roomy and clean. The ramp at the front entrance was perfect for the member of our party that has mobility issues. We would definitely stay here again.
Awesome Cabin in the woods
