Westgate Resort is a five star Ski In/Ski Out resort located at the base of Park City resort in Canyons Village with over 7,300 acres of skiable terrain right outside the resort. The wonderfully decorated two-bedroom, two-bath villa offers astonishing spaciousness with an attention to detail your whole family will enjoy. At 1,100 square feet, this villa features two king beds, a queen sleeper sofa and a large fully equipped gourmet kitchen featuring granite countertops as well as an additional kitchenette, living room with fire place and flat screen t.v.'s in the living room and in each of the two bedrooms with a big stone Jacuzzi bath tub in the main bedroom. There is also a washer and dryer right in the unit. The unit offers notable spaciousness and beautiful furniture and decor, creating the perfect backdrop for your visit to Park City. It’s just an all-around nice place for a great vacation.
This unit sleeps 6 people comfortably. Westgate is a great place and has many things to do to keep your kids busy. Included are ping pong tables, an arcade room with all kind of games, indoor / outdoor pool. It is a kid friendly place but is also perfect if you have no kids and want a romantic week because it has an adults only spa area with a water fall, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna as well as a world class health spa, the 30,000 square foot Serenity Spa.
The resort has a ski valet where they will store your skis at night and will take them to the gondola or to a van that will take you to the resort of your choice in the area. You never have to carry your skis. When you return from a fun filled day on the slopes, if skiing at Park City Resort, employees are at the base of the Gondola to take your skis and store them back at Westgate for the night as well as dry and store your boots. (Westgate free shuttle service will pick you up at Park City base or Deer Valley also).
Westgate has a great valet boot and locker area where employees take your wet items, such as boots and gloves, dry them and put them in your personal lockers so they are dry and ready to go back out to the slopes when you are.
Westgate Resort is located on the mountain in Canyon Village just steps away from the gondola and several restaurants including two right at the resort as well as a coffee bar. You never have to rent a car either because they will take you any place and pick you up in one of their several vans they have to accommodate their owners and guests.
This resort has something for everyone. We have a place locally so can answer any questions about the area you might have.

Great Stay for Both Skiers & Our 1 Lodge Dweller

It was a spacious comfy unit for 4 at a very good location. Only complaint is that it was missing wash cloths, a colander; oven mitts, but with a call to the front desk all was remedied in a short time.

Perfect location

We love the Canyons/Park City/Salt Lake City area for skiing, access to the southern Utah state parks, and the beautiful winter mountain scenery. The Canyons/Westgate makes it easy to access the great skiing of both mountains and then take the shuttle into Park City for the food and shopping. The accomodations are fantastic, and we would highly recommend this location with the hosts Dean and Laura! Thanks for the communication and working together to setup a great family trip.

Guest services and house keeping not good

I was told in writing that in addition to the 1 bedroom, there would be 2 couch sofa sleepers and could sleep 6. Not! Only 1 sofa sleeper. There's no room for 2 sofa sleepers at all!! 2 of the days when we got done skiing around 4 we went back to the room with house keeping just starting to clean. I called head of house keeping and they basically said there's a letter indicating rooms may not be cleaned until 5....Sorry I missed the letter. House keeping was very rude!! The elevator situation was poorly thought out and was mass confusion and frustrating to most people I spoke to in the elevators. Nice try, but I wouldn't come back for vacation and maybe if someone else was paying the bill. Todd Wheeler

We have both skied at many resorts from Mammoth to Chamonix but have found Park City to be our favorite for many reasons: the local ski resorts that are rated among the best in the world, the many restaurants and shops, historic downtown, the quick 30 minute ride from the airport, the many outdoor activities in both winter and summer, the friendly people, etc. etc. We will be in town the same week you are and will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have or offer suggestions on dining, shopping, or activities.
