About Scott

My family bought this home as a winter and summer getaway. We don't use it as much as we used too and now would like to offer it for others to enjoy!

Scott purchased this cabin in 1986

Why Scott chose White Mountains

We purchased this log home because it was close by our favorite skiing area, Bretton Woods. It was also close to North Conway shopping and many other attractions.

What makes this cabin unique

The home is uniquely secluded in a log cabin community with views of nearby mountains. Breathing the fresh air every morning off the back porch is a great way to start your day!

We loved this cabin. Spacious, clean and a great location. This cabin would be great for a winter getaway or a summer getaway. Very well appointed, clean and comfy. We will be back.

Charming secluded cabin in the woods of NH

  • 5 of 5

My family loved the house. The kitchen was well equipped. The living area was spacious for our kids to watch tv or play. The fireplace was great for the cold nights and the ambiance. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. It was great having a washer / dryer as well. We skied at Bretton Woods and it was a fast 5 minute drive. We can't wait to do it again.

Fantastic cabin in a great location!

This place was perfect for our honeymoon. The husband wanted a spot close to the park and I wanted a "secluded cabin" so this place was the best of both worlds. We enjoyed a snowy day of Harry Potter marathons next to the fireplace and was able to cook our own dinner with the fully stocked (and impressively organized) kitchen. No complaints here!

Excellent stay, beautiful property!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the White Mountain Getaway. The home was very comfortable and full of rustic charm. It felt off the beaten path while still being close enough to shopping and dining so we didn't have to cook every night. It was a great base to explore the local area! My son enjoyed seeing foxes and rabbits in the backyard too. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Hello my name is nizamettin turan. I recently stayed at this amazing place for a week. This was by far the most peaceful vacation ive ever had!! The inside of the cabin was very clean for starters.. The veiw from the cabin was amazing.. There was a mountain about five or ten min from the cabin with an even more extraordinary veiw, my family and i were actually able to fish off of the mountain. There is plenty to see near by, you do not have to go far. The cabin itself was rly spacious, we were not in tight quarters or uncomfortable at all. And again i want to say by far the most relaxing vacation i have ever had. I would love to come back to this resort again and if by chance the owner was to ever sell i would be very interested. Thank you for a wonderful expeirence.

Quiet, excellent location and roomy house.

  • 4 of 5

Overall the house was relatively comfortable, plenty of space for a family of 4. We greatly enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, viewing the stars at night, and watching the resident bunny hang out in yard. The kitchen was adequately equipped and very convenient to cook a quick meal after a day on the trails. We enjoyed playing a family game from the large selection of games on a rainy morning. The only complaint we would have is the house could use a good "spring cleaning" (blinds, carpeting, curtains...) - it would greatly improve the overall rating from 4 stars to 5.

The location is excellent - close to hiking trails and near Littleton with a general store literally down the road.

Lastly, the owner Scott, was very responsive to any questions we had and glad to help.
