Built in 1797, the Aaron Hovey house is completely restored to blend the old with the new. The house has been placed on the NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES by the U. S. DEPARTMENT of the INTERIOR. It features old New England charm with 3 bed rooms and a Garrett where kids can play and sleep. It is just steps to the Port's shops and restaurants. The backyard is a great place for cook outs on the provided grill and just a wonderful place for kids to play and adults to sit and enjoy. K'Port is a quint New England village featuring historic homes, beautiful rocky shores, and large sandy beaches. We provide a free beach parking permit for your family's enjoyment to all of Kennebunk's sandy beaches.

Points of Interest: Walkers Point (home to the Bushes) White Columns, a historic sea captain's home which houses the Bush Museum, whale watching, Cape Porpoise Light house, sightseeing cruises , the Trolley Museum, beaches, great restaurants, motor scooter and bicycle rentals. Enjoy easy day trips up and down the Maine coast as well as to Boston and the White Mountains.

Paradise in Kennebunkport!

I can't say enough about this amazing home! It is a gorgeous piece of history, beautifully restored with absolutely everything you could dream of ever wanting or needing. Our family enjoyed walking to all of the shops and restaurants nearby and never having to worry about parking. The backyard is gorgeous and lush for relaxing and playing. All of the linens are luxurious and high quality. Beds and furniture were all so comfortable and attractive. Top notch amenities and gorgeous decor! We hated to leave! This incredible old home has been tastefully updated into the 21st century while keeping it's character from 1797... so neat to be on the national historic register. Our young boys LOVED spending time in the Garret. We hope to visit again! There is so much to do in the area and having a beach parking pass was a treat. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great home, wonderful location

Highly recommend this house for a Maine vacation. It is right in the heart of Kennebunkport- literally just steps to (excellent) ice cream and restaurants and shops. Longer walks will take you to the beach. The house itself has a great kitchen with all you need to cook. The backyard is a nice place to play and relax. We went with our 3 year old and his grandmother and all were comfortable. Steep steps inside- it's an historic house- so you'll need to keep an eye on tots, but otherwise very family friendly. The homeowner and property manager were very responsive and nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home away from home!

Been coming to Kennebunkport for the past 6 years and it gets better each year. Thinking about coming for my 20th wedding anniversary this fall. The house was beautiful and the owners thought of everything. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A Lovely Home!

The home is impeccable. Very comfortable and inviting. It has the beauty of an antique home with all the modern amenities. The location is ideal. You can walk and never have to get in your car if you choose. The owners have caretakers who are very helpful with questions. They meet you upon arrival to give you all the information you need. I highly recommend!

As good as it gets!

A beautiful house in a beautiful town. You feel right at home as soon as you step in the house. Great location, great accomodation...everything you may need is there. Nice back yard with garden furniture and bbq to enjoy your meals on a nice sunny day. Very nice and accomodating owners. Karen the local contact could not be any nicer and helpful.

A little downside is the daytime traffic noise on the busy street.

Highly recommended.
