About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Bedroom 3, 1.5 Baths (Sleeps 6)

Comfy cabin close to the big lake, where you can swim, ski, fish, or just enjoy the view. Lake Seminole is renown for its bass fishing and beautiful sunsets. Duck, deer, and hog hunters come back year after year looking for the perfect trophy.

Country Paradise is located in Paradise Acres, 1 mile from Seminole State Park and 3 miles from the Chattahoochee River. Depending on your boat speed and impatience, you can be fishing in Lake Seminole within 20 minutes of launching your boat from one of several state ramps.

For a change of pace from the great outdoors, you can visit antique stores in Bainbridge Donalsonville or Colquitt. Go a little farther afield and explore the Kolomoki Indian Mounds State Historical Park or the Marianna Caverns. Golfers will enjoy the 18 holes course over 6,552 yards with a par of 72 at the Donalsonville Country Club.

The cabin has two bedrooms with double beds and a queen-size pull out couch in the living area. A 39” TV anchors one end of the room, with a dining room table that accommodates six eaters or game players anchoring the other. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washer and dryer.

Come to the country, where you can watch the cotton and peanuts grow and enjoy starry evenings around the fire pit.

Best house to rent on lake Seminole for the price

  • 5 of 5

I’ve stayed in several different houses while on fishing trips to lake Seminole. This house has definitely been the best house for the price. The house had everything we needed during our stay and was extremely clean. I will be staying here again if it’s not booked.

Perfect for a few days

  • 4 of 5

I love this little cabin. The owner is amazing, the property is clean, the beds comfortable. I was a little disappointed this time that the fire pit isn’t usable, but we had a good time anyway. Perfect for my 2 young sons, my husband and myself.

What an amazing weekend get away!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect! It was warm and welcoming. We just really enjoying the beautiful view of trees and the lake. Gorgeous view! We lacked nothing. The cabin provided everything that was needed. Everything was so neat and clean. Will definetly be back. Thank you Lori for making everything so easy and for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful cabin. This cabin will be our "get away" place for now on.

A piece of paradise

  • 5 of 5

What a precious little cabin! My church's ladies' retreat was donated this cabin for two nights to provide lodging for our speaker. My husband and I checked the cabin out before she arrived so we could make sure she had everything she would need for the weekend. There was absolutely nothing to do! Everything was graciously provided from linens, to soap, to coffee and filters, and even paper products! They even made sure firewood was delivered just in case she wanted to build a fire in the outdoor pit. The cabin was well furnished with new, clean furniture. The area is not only convenient to Lake Seminole, but it is also quiet and safe. We were thrilled to find such a fantastic place for our guest to stay! I would highly recommend this cabin!

Paradise Cabin is truly in an outdoors paradise. Boating, skiing, canoeing, swimming, fishing, hunting, and hiking are within a five mile radius.

Lake Seminole covers 37,500 acres and has a 376 mile shoreline that includes 30 miles on the Chattahoochee River and 35 miles on the Flint River. The lake, which is rated the fifth best bass fishing lake in the U.S., contains over 79 species of fish that include largemouth bass, stripes and hybrid bass, crappie, catfish, bream, and shell cracker.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources manages over 16,000 acres of hunting grounds, where ducks, deer, turkey, dove, and quail abound.

The Chattahoochee River is a flyway and spring and fall are especially good times to see birds not native to the area. Over 295 species of birds have been sighted. Bald eagles and osprey fly by the cabin and nest in nearby trees.
