We are a family of 5. We live and work in NYC and use our special home in Rhinebeck as our family retreat where we recharge with friends and family. We love hosting and look forward to hosting you.
Natalie Ginor purchased this house in 2005
A house for all seasons. Whether you want an autumnal escape, a cozy weekend, sitting by the fireplace after skiing or nearby sledding, delicious local cuisne or a summer place to BBQ, swim and hot tub, this house has it all!
Beautiful, clean, family home or couples retreat. Beautiful and large property with modern amenities amidst a country feel. There is a lot to do nearby or just relax on site.
We had a lovely stay at this home and we thank Natalie for her hospitality and local area recommendations! We went for an apple picking weekend and a birthday celebration with three children (3 & 4 years old) and we all had a blast! It is a perfect house for young children, they didn't want to leave! Natalie, they want to thank your children "for sharing their great toys and books" ;) We had everything we needed in the house, nine of us fit comfortably at the dinner table, in the family room, and the sleeping arrangements were perfectly accommodating for all of us. We would definitely return!
My family and I vacationed in this home back in 2013 and I have been trying to get back every year since. This year we hit the jackpot- the dates lined up and voila.... We were back!
We spent about two and half weeks and it was the most relaxing holiday we have had in a while and that's because we wanted for nothing! The home has everything- from cozy linens to a crystal clear heated pool- from toys for the children to all cookware and kitchen appliances- from central air to a great TV system. You name it- they have thought of everything.
The owners beautifully renovated many things in the house since our last trip (not that they needed to). Some things remain the same- the house is spotless, roomy, and welcoming as are the owners and the people that help with the house.
And when you do venture away from the house- there are many things to do and see like dining in some great restaurants and enjoying Poet's Walk. Rhinebeck is a lovely town with some great shops.
Thank you so much, Natalie, for everything!
Once again, a lovely weekend in an idyllic setting, facilitated by gracious hosts! My family had a wonderfully relaxing time, even with some rain. You can't go wrong at this well-appointed, spotlessly clean, family-friendly home in a charming town. Our second stay, but definitely not our last!
We've rented many nice vacation homes over the years [Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Lake Hopatcong...] but none can compare to this Rhinebeck Family Estate. The listing is entirely "truth in advertising." A very special place and a child's dream. Let's keep it a secret....Ken P.
Our extended family group (ages 1 to 87) had a wonderful time staying in this home. everyone loved the beautiful pool and the trampoline kept our son busy for hours. the home is spacious, comfortable, and includes everything we needed for our stay (including both a crib and a pack-and-play). The kids loved the many toys and my daughter worked her way through dozens of children's books in the house. We also had a great time visiting Rhinebeck and the surrounding area.
From the booking to the check-out, it could not have been better. This property is THE most family-friendly, impeccably maintained vacation home we've stayed at. There wasn't a single thing to complain about (and I'm picky!) Our hosts were responsive and friendly and thought of everything. We booked a return visit while we were still there!
Rhinebeck is a charming and historic, yet cosmopolitan town, mid point between New York City & Boston (less than 2 hours from either city). With the Culinary Institute of America in the next town over, (Hyde Park), there are many excellent restaurants in the small town of Rhinebeck. There are also numerous boutiques, cafes, quaint stores, and the Haven Spa. Within 15 miles, there are 2 different State Parks, with lakes, beaches and hiking trails. Burger Hill, less than 2 miles from the house, provides beautiful views of the surrounding mountains in the warm months. In the winter, Burger Hill boasts epic sledding at various elevation levels- good for young children as well as thrill seeking adults. Approximately 1 hour from the house are two ski resorts; 1. Butternut and 2. Cattamount.
Rhinebeck is a 10 minute drive from Kingston with all of the big box retailers, movie theaters, etc. The house is 2 miles from a Super Stop n Shop as well as the Northern Dutchess Hospital. The house is also less than 2 miles from the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, which hosts year round events, most notably the Dutchess County Fair held in late August.
