Clean and spacious

Spacious and the furniture was very comfortable. Owners were easy to work with and made sure we had the info we needed before check in. No lengthy check out instructions and plenty of convenience items on the property. Would definitely stay again!

Little Gem in Jefferson

Thank you for a great experience. We stayed here with our toddler and we were very pleased with the accommodations this little house provided. The kitchen was clean and fully stocked with anything you’d need to prepare a meal, plenty of room to eat at the table as a family and the beds were comfortable with extra blankets if needed. Thank you, we would love to stay again on our next visit!

Hometown

Very comfortable. Owners are to one side and Vincent the other. Kinda a busy road for residential, but it is a connector road. Easy walk to and or around town. Good local Grinds at the Junkyard Cafe. In close proximity to the Lucky Pig in Ogden. Have stayed there twice and have booked a week in 2023. Aloha. Dave

We moved to Jefferson, IA over 4th of July weekend in 2006. We came here to start our Chiropractic business as well as start a family. We are not originally from the area. Chad is from Longmont, CO and I (Ashley) am from Spencer, IA. So, when all of our family comes to visit for big celebrations, it gets a bit cramped in our house! We have 3 young boys who take up a lot of space on their own! Also, I may have watched a little too much HGTV sparking up a new love of remodeling, repurposing, decorating...

So, when this property became available, we couldn't help but imagine the perfect place to have family stay, be cozy and feel like they are at home. We hope you feel the same way when you stay at the Little Greene House!

Why they chose this property

This property is next door to our home making it the perfect get away for us without going too far. Sometimes I enjoy a quiet space to read, watch movies, scrapbook or work on pictures. This house is the perfect space. It is fresh and bright, but warm and cozy. We enjoy our neighborhood with large trees and big back yards with plenty of room to do as you please.

What makes this property unique

This house is located on a quiet street, close to the bike trail, parks and if you take Chestnut Street (about a block from the house) it will take you right to the square where you'll find food, shops, the Rec Center, theater and more. There is a large backyard as well as a front porch, 2nd floor deck and patio out back to enjoy some out door time.
