With Schoodic Point to the east, this cottage is set in the peaceful countryside of Sullivan, Maine, a seaside town on Frenchman's Bay. Delightful

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in this charming cottage. We loved Schoodic Penninsula biking, hiking, and dining at Bunker Harbor. The location of the cottage is great for Desert Island too.

This quaint house just a short distance from the ocean was charming and well equiped.

  • 5 of 5

We had the most amazing stay at the Pond View Cottage. The house was warm, welcoming and perfect for our family. We enjoyed the large kitchen and family room, the napping house, and our boys loved the loft. The house was well supplied and everything thought out from the brochures, cookbooks, extra paper towels and other everyday kitchen needs. Joanne was readily available if needed and oh so lovely to work with.

We spent our days taking trips to Acadia and Schoodic Point. Schoodic Point is amazing - much less crowded than Acadia and filled with secret treasures. Our favorites were Raven's Nest, hiking up Schoodic Head, climbing all over the rocks at Schoodic Point and picking blueberries at Blueberry Hill. We enjoyed the beach down the road and watched 3 bald eagles fish there one morning. We had lobsters from Tracey's twice (great prices) and visited a bunch of local artisans. We visited Tidal Falls several times at different tide levels and saw bald eagles, seals, blue herons and tons sea stars.

Coming home after a long day of adventures to the cottage was very relaxing.

Great Place To Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 6/16 - 6/24, for our family vacation. We all loved and enjoyed the cottage. Joanne thought of of little thing someone might need during their stay! She was super friendly, and responded quickly to any questions we had. The cottage is a short distance from anything you could want to do. It super comfortable, and roomy enough for a large family. We hope to return in the future. Thank you Joanne & Matt!

Amazing location, beautiful, comfortable home!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great time here! The house is situated in a nice location, yet far enough from the crowds and traffic. The house was stocked with everything we needed and then some. The kitchen is gorgeous! Joanne responded right away with any questions we had and even mailed an entire duffle bag that we forgot the next morning. We are so happy with our stay here and plan on returning sometime soon!

The house is wonderful! Very pretty, clean and comfortable.

We had a terrific stay at this house! The owners were so nice to work with. The house and yard are just beautiful and I loved being asked to water the flowers in the flower box! The location was perfect for exploring Acadia and many other places in Maine. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was. The house is so beautifully furnished with handmade quilts and watercolors of Maine. We hope to return for another visit. Thanks!!
