About Alyce and Napoleon Meadors

Napoleon and Alyce Meadors live 10 minutes from this cozy retreat they built to accommodate and delight travelers or vacationers who want a relaxing setting to unwind. Napoleon hales from Louisiana, Alyce from Indiana. Graduates of Grambling State University and Indiana University (law; Ball State undergraduate), they have lived in Indiana, Texas, Missouri, and now Tennessee.

Alyce and Napoleon Meadors purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Alyce and Napoleon Meadors chose Tennessee

Napoleon and Alyce acquired this little piece of paradise because of the picturesque solitude, yet so convenient to activities and services. Their plan is to have a home adjacent to the property; but in the meantime to share the Fallen Timbers "experience" with their guests. Fallen Timbers cabin retreat is modern, yet quite appropriately appointed for the country setting. It is convenient to Nashville, Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Tennessee, and borders the Williamson County line where Franklin, Nolensville, and Brentwood are located. Grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and golf courses, and a beautiful winery are all within a short driving distance.

What makes this cabin unique

Warm and cozy with a large deck surrounded by woods. The cabin has a wood-burning fireplace and plenty of firewood. A separate massage center is on the property; with male and female massage therapists available upon request. Couples as well as individual massage services are available, including, full body, hot stone, or just a foot massage in a spa chair. Yoga and Reiki energy relaxation therapy are also available on-site per request. All services are for guest only..

Arrington vineyard is a short drive from Fallen Timbers. It has a tasting room and in warmer months, outdoor concerts.

Guestbook comments from the owner

A great place for family to reconnect! Love all the little thoughtful Kitchen utensils. Comfortable and peaceful. Great deck to sit on even in the pouring down rain. Would love to come back in the fall. Thank you for creating such a quaint place.

Comfortable Cabin with Fantastic Covered Back Deck

  • 4 of 5

We found this to be the perfect location for our vacation to Nashville and a day-trip to Huntsville. It's also just back from the road enough to make you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well cared for. We loved just sitting on the back porch, quietly listening to the birds, and watching the deer. Didn't see any mosquitos but bring some insect repellant if you plan to hike the trails.

Wonderful & Peaceful

This was a great get away. House was very clean and well stocked. We had a great time. Not to far from Nashville. Did not mind the drive. Wild turkeys were everywhere. We would recomend this place to anyone.

It's All True!

  • 5 of 5

Clean. Comfortable. Cozy. Plenty of room inside and out! The cabin has a large bedroom with an adjoining bath on each end with the common living space & kitchen in the middle. The entire property including balcony is plenty private and the overall setting as well as the tour to the seclusion is beautiful. We would definitely stay there again!

The cabin was more than we expected, absolutely beautiful.

  • 5 of 5

When we walked in we were taken aback at how beautiful and clean the cabin was. Anything you needed was there and more.

The property around the cabin was beautiful, we actually took a couple of the trails.

The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were huge and clean. We will definitely stay there again ♥
