Excellent Luxury 2 Bedroom Apartment, South Facing Pool View Terrace 50m, beach

CANCELLED BOOKING February 06th or 07th 2017 for 07 nights was £260 now just £199 for the apartment not per person. Our superb 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury air-conditioned apartment with FREE WIFI and full UK TV package including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and BT Sports etc is situated on the sea front just 50 metres from the beach in the family resort of Benalmadena Costa. The Torreon del Mar Apartments are only 14 Kilometres or 15 minutes by taxi from Malaga Airport therefore car hire is not necessary. The sandy beach of Torrequebrada is just across the road from the Torreon del Mar Apartments, with several shops and restaurants very near by including a large new Supercor supermarket with fresh fish, meat and vegetable counters plus numerous English food items available. In addition there is a large Pharmacy with English speaking assistants just a few steps away from the apartment. There is a bus stop just 40 metres from the apartments with very regular services West to Fuengirola and Marbella and East to Torremolinos & Malaga.

The facilities at Torreon del Mar Apartments in Benalmadena Costa include a large Swimming Pool, with extensive sun terrace and free sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs, table tennis, children's playground, basket ball area plus changing area with toilets and showers. Directly in front of the Torreon del Mar apartments there is a typical Spanish Tapas 'La Rota del Iberico' bar restaurant serving a wonderful selection of Serrano hams, chorizo sausage and a wide variety of Spanish cheeses with numerous beers and wines available. Next door you will find a high standard Spanish Italian restaurant 'Amici' serving Pasta, Steak and Pizza. Amigos Grill has the same owners and offers a fantastic choice of both Mexican and Indian food. The pleasant 'El Caprico de Torrequebrada' restaurant with its large terrace and serving a wide range of reasonably priced Spanish Tapas, fish and meat dishes is located on the corner of Torreon del Mar next to the Pharmacy. For those who just want a coffee, beer, English breakfast or toasted sandwich the Torreon del Mar snack bar should hit the spot.

Excellent accommodation

The apartment has everything you need for a most enjoyable stay. Everything you could possibly need is on the doorstep, good restaurants and a fantastic supermarket (although, if you arrive on a Sunday the supermarket is closed) but there are shops open in the marina area. The internet access is perfect as is the TV. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are definitely looking to book again next year. Keith and Penny are extremely helpful and answer any questions and queries almost immediately, their directions to the apartment are great and we found it no problem. We did have a hire car but the bus service along the coast is great too. It took us about 20 minutes from the airport. Obviously at this time of year it is quieter but having the pool and sun beds all to ourselves was absolute bliss and it was so peaceful that we felt relaxed and refreshed within a couple of days. I cannot recommend this apartment enough and I'm sure if you book with Keith and Penny you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous apartment in a great location

We have just returned home (reluctantly) from staying in this great apartment. It is a generous size inside with every piece of equipment needed for a self catering holiday- and has a lovely terrace overlooking the pool which we used daily well into the evening to enjoy a quiet drink. The apartment building itself is bigger than I imagined but you couldn't tell-it was quiet and all communal areas were spotless. The apartment is kitted out with everything needed for a wonderful holiday-even down to bucket and spades and balls for the beach. Keith has been so helpful-even letting us stay a bit longer on the day of departure as our flight was in the evening. With a 5 year old son that made a huge difference as we could spend the day on the beach without carrying our suitcase around. The other positives (too many to write) are that there are restaurants just under the building if you don't want to stray too far and a supermarket at the end of the road which makes it so much easier than carrying shopping a long way.

We had a fantastic family holiday and will definately be returning to this home away from home. Thank you so much!

Wonderful Holiday

John and I have just returned from a fantastic week in Benalmadena. Keith and Penny's apartment has everything you could want. Spacious, comfortable and clean with fresh linen and towels. The Wifi has excellent reception as does the Internet TV with English channels. The kitchen is also exceptionally well equipped.

The apartment is in a fantastic location -very easy to get to from Malaga airport with a quick ( and cheap!) train journey- which run frequently.It is situated at the end of the busy shops and bars so quiet but at the same time a very short walk to some fabulous restaurants and bars. There is a beautiful beach opposite the apartment with easy access via several routes. A good bus service runs very close by that runs to all the locations along the coast.

We were very fortunate with the weather with lovely warm sunny days. This is the first time we've been to Spain at this time of year but one we will most definitely do again. We would both recommend this apartment without hesitation.

Also, just to say I'm not so Internet savvy at booking holidays and probably emailed Kieth rather more than necessary but he was always reassuring and prompt in replying!! Thank you!

Lovely apartment spacious and spotlessly clean. Would certainly visit again.

The complex was well maintained and no rushing to acquire a sunbed! The apartment was close to some really good restaurants and a bus stop to take you to the marina. All in all a very enjoyable holiday. Thanks Keith & Penny.

Great spacious apartment with everything you need for a great holiday

On booking at first slightly nervous as first time booking this way. But no needed to worry! Great communication with Keith to settle nerves, apartment was great, pool was fab and close to beach and nice resturants.

Excellent apartment, High standard, comfortable and quiet complex.

This property is excellent, everything you could possibly need is provided. We have two teenagers and wifi was very strong. The property is close to beach a walk across the road. for those not able for steps be warned there are over 100 but no trouble we did them several times every day. Huge supermarket within easy reach and a few restaurants close by.

all the facilities of sunset beach hotel available gym. Classes and nightly entertainment.

a comfortable walk will bring you to a vast choice of good resturante a and shops and a short taxi ride will bring you to the wonderful Port.

this is our second time staying at Torreon Del Mar and we will return.

There is an excellent Medical centre only 200 metres away from our luxury apartment that accepts the EHIC European Health Insurance Card, a PADI diving centre across the road on the beach at the Sunset Beach Hotel and the Torrequebrada Golf Course only 500 metres away. There are several water sports available including Pedalos, Jet skis etc just 250 metres away at the start of the Benalmadena beach. The promenade leading from the beach extends along to the Benalmadena Marina (Voted Best Marina in the World) which is approximately 25 minuets walk depending on how many beach restaurants or bars you stop at to take in the excellent ocean views. Alternatively the local bus takes just a couple of minutes and costs around one Euro.

The Torrequebrada 5 Star Hotel and Casino with International Cabaret Acts, Entertainment and superb dining options is just 250 metres away. The unspoilt historic city of Ronda is less than an hours drive and boasts the oldest Bull Ring in Spain, along with some spectacular views and breathtaking scenery.

The entire apartment has air conditioning plus heating, marble floors and is fitted to a high specification. The apartment door leads into a well furnished large hallway with a video entrance monitor for your security. Our apartment has the benefit of two secure underground garage car parking spaces with an electronic entrance door and a lift plus stairs leading directly to our apartment front door. We have recently upgraded the TV & DVD in the apartment to a 32 inch HD flat screen with HD DVD and added FREE high speed wireless INTERNET access. There are an excellent range of facilities very close to the apartments, including a superb beach within 50 metres of the apartments which has sun beds with parasols the excellent Californian style beach bar 'Luna' serving cocktails and light snacks plus BBQ evening meals. There is also a superb La Cala; Spanish Al a Carte restaurant with dining terrace over looking the beach and ocean serving a wide range of fish and other specialities
