Why Aileen Houston chose Penticton
Duncan and Aileen fell in love with this property because of the proximity to the KVR Trail and because it is walking distance to downtown and to KVR Middle school where daughter Brittany attended school. Plus loved the yard with the 7 fruit trees and the size of the house with it's many windows offering sun all day long. The house is also walking distance to the Penticton Marina where the Houston's sail their Ericson 32 sailboat regularly and the Penticton Tennis Club, where Aileen is a daily tennis player between May and October. Also love that the property is within easy walking distance to many wineries along the Naramata Bench. I could go on and on.......
What makes this Apartment unique

Can’t wait to be back
Location was great for a concert at the event centre.
Property was wonderful, got some great fall pictures of our son.
Cleanliness and friendliness was an amazing addition to the comfortable bed and welcoming style. Great for morning coffee or evening wine.
Sad our stay was so short. Will definitely be back when the warmth comes around. Although the jacuzzi would warm the cold bones if you are visiting in winter.
Our stay at Plum Suite
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Plum Suite. Duncan and Aileen were very welcoming and helpful. The suite is comfortable and nicely renovated. It had all the amenities that we needed. And the location was perfect for us. Close to the lake, walking trails and downtown.
Definitely a 5/5!
The perfect location for experiencing all that Penticton and the Naramata Bench has to offer. The accommodation is clean, spacious, warm, cosy, and comfortable. We felt right at home. Duncan and Aileen are wonderful hosts!
Lovely unit, perfectly located to walk downtown Penticton, steps from the KVR. Comfy bed, well appointed kitchen. Our only concern was the inability to control our unit's temperature.
There are four large opening windows for cooling the Plum Suite. During your stay the outside temperature was 17 C, so AC does not come on. There is an electric woodstove for extra heat. Thanks so much for your lovely comments.
Plum Suite for a pleasant stay in Penticton
A generally comfy and pleasant suite for our 3-night stay in Penticton, BC. Furnishings are nice; it has a small, but workable kitchen (no dishwasher); lots of hot water, good air conditioning. The BBQs outside work well. The king-size bed is great; the double bed in the living room is OK, but the foam? mattress on top makes odd noises when you move... that may bother light sleepers (like my daughter). Overall - we would visit again.
We were in town for a convention and didn’t spend much time at the apartment. We were there pretty much to shower, sleep and have coffee in the mornings. We were very comfortable and slept really well in the king bed. It was a nice place.
1 kilometre or 10 minute walk to downtown for shopping and restaurants and cinema and breweries; 1 kilometre or 10 minute walk to the marina and lake for all kinds of water sports. Right across the street from the KVR Trail for cycling or walking or running 100's of kilometres into the country with scenic views of Lake Okanagan and the mountains. 1 minute walk to Perseus winery which is the closest winery and continue the scenic 20 minute drive to Naranata where you can visit 20+ wineries. 5 minute stroll to the Bench which is the best place for breakfast and lunch in Penticton. Visit a lovely waterfalls in Naramata at the Creek Park.
